  1. The horrible thing about addiction and mental health is how quickly it can take its victims.

Any number of factors can trigger the inevitable downward spiral- the death of a loved one, a relationship breakup, a job loss, stress/anxiety issues, a chemical imbalance in the brain and, especially amongst young people in this social media obsessed age, the constant demands of peer pressure.

It also doesn't discriminate on any grounds- age, wealth status, gender, race, sexuality etc. It is a problem that encompasses all aspects of society.

Props to these high profile folk for speaking out on such an important topic.

  2. Pathetic creature has been rolling out his sob story every 12 months for the last 20 years.

  3. its so hard to be top earning football player im telling you all this money all this cocaine boy you wouldnt like that

  4. Mental health this, mental health that. Unless you are severely depressed without cause or reason, then I feel for you, but most people do it to themselves. All of the people I knew that had "depression" and "mental health problems" where people who were all part of the rat race. It's not for everyone, if you are the kind of person who can't go on Instagram without looking at all of the "successful" people without getting jealous and feelings of inferiority, then it's not for you and you need to recognise that. If you constantly go places just to take photos and post online to show a life you don't live, then when you don't get the attention you wanted, you claim mental health (which most times is just a plot for more attention and likes – which nobody wants to actually talk about because huuuuuh mental health, we can't call anyone out who's struggling with their 'mental heath'") I'm most likely not going to be sympathetic in the slightest.

If however, there's a guy/girl who got bullied by no fault of their own and no matter what they did could never escape it, then I'm going to speak up and make sure that you get the social attention and interaction you need to get back to a stable state where you're not constantly drowning from anxiety.

But if you're a multi-millionaire who had all the money, got addicted and basically fell off, then go on TV to talk about it to gain sympathy (when nobody really asked), I'm sorry, but you're going to be at the back of the queue in my mind. There are people who genuinely need help who I'm more prioritised to help.

  5. A like him but how many times we heard this people are going through worse than this he’s making a fortune get a grip

  6. Please, mental health and addiction are illnesses, not life choicesnand will impact Prince or Pauper alike.
To anyone who needs help, you deserve it. You are important and your life means something and is to be valued.
    Take care and good luck.

  7. Such an important video. Governing bodies need to ban all gambling and alcohol sponsorship / advertising in sport. Complete blackout for the wellbeing of everyone. There are better ways to generate revenue. Staring with companies that are either B Corp, Cruelty Free International, Soil Association or GOTS certified.

  8. Help & support available??
    Sadly not my experience.
A visit to the GP resulted in a telephone number for a counselling service with a 6 month waiting list.
No other help at all unless you have ability to pay private 🙁

  9. Must be on the beer now with what he wrote in sky sports about citys treble eclipsing utds 😂 yes arsenal did miss a last min pen in the semi final, but there shouldn't have been a replay as utd had a perfectly legit goal not given in the first game, short memory or just stupid
