  1. Alexander the Great graduated from Ball H.S. in good old Galveston, TX. In fact, I can remember seeing him in the halls between classes.

  2. I gotta do it to you. Jonathan Giles. Mike Jones. Big expectations for players coming into the program who have played against (arguably) inferior competition. I HOPE he's amazing. But until he's on campus and ran thru the paces..i think a little cautious optimism is in order. Also, for reference…Emery, Goodwin, and Cain were all rated higher than Diggs coming out of highschool. Emery was the only 5 star out of the group. Not saying thats the be-all, end-all. It doesnt mean everything. But it means SOMETHING. To say he's the best running back on the team is a bit much. The reason a walk-on became our starting RB was his ability and willingness to pick up the blitz and not fumble. We shall see how Diggs holds up to SEC football.

  3. Dalton Hilliard,. Gary James, Brad Davis, Hokie Gajan, Jeremy Hill, Leonard Fournette, and on and on

  4. I think Emory will be the load hog, but Cain, and Goodwin are going to methodically punish D lines, and I believe Diggs will be good too! I can see Williams, Emory, Cain, and Goodwin having about 450-550 yard seasons and Emory, Diggs, and Cain catching 300 plus yards out the Backfield! Health, health, and health are the words of the season.

  5. Let me also say that the need for a "number 1" running back is overblown. Its that old school SEC, run the ball 50 times a game, Les Miles mentality. Neither Ohio State nor Georgia had 1000 yard backs this past season. Pass protection and ball protection is whats going to decide who plays the most. Those things being equal…just go with whomever has the "hot hand" and everything will be fine.

  6. Love your show – but Charles Alexander is actually from Texas – friend of mine – but I get your point – your right for most part for sure

  7. Hey, I just love your enthusiasm and loyalty to LSU – but are you getting ‘carried away’ with yourself?
What concerns me a little is that up until now your 2023 projections for our team have been really high – always so positive –
Yet, the very corollary of your opinion on Diggs is that PRIOR to his signing our RBs [in your opinion] are clearly inferior to what ND had and, presumably then,
inferior to many other SEC teams whose talent stock is higher than the Fighting Irish……..
    Where’s the objectivity?

  8. Having that much running back depth and ability increases the chance for the offense to be that more explosive with big plays off play action as well!!

  9. That is definitely great we're going to need a great running back now I can see we are definitely going to have a great season 👍🙌👏

  10. The first thing Kelly said about the running back room is there is really a high degree of depth.

  11. Got nothing but love for Logan Diggs. There were rumors of him transferring to LSU from the moment he stepped on ND’s campus. The kid wanted to play closer to home. Nothing wrong with that, I’m actually surprised it took this long. Again, nothing but love for Diggs, hope he flourishes

  12. My hometown is South Bend,so I’m a huge ND fan.I think Diggs saw the writing on the wall.ND is loaded with backs,I wish he would’ve stayed.Diggs will help LSU,he’s got good hands, and deceptive speed.I hope he stays healthy for y’all.Good luck young man,and thank you for wearing that Gold helmet🙏🏽

  13. Got nothing but love for Logan he and i played ball back in middle school he was a dawg back then and he still is a dawg I wish him nothing but success

  14. "Logan Diggs is a more talented running back at every level…Logan Diggs is better than Josh Williams."

I'm not so sure about that.
