  1. Twas that kind of game where cork lads and tipp lads waltzed in for goals.

Mistakes were made on both sides but the players didn't let it upset them and drove on again.

Who is perfect in munster, nobody so far. !!

  2. RTE GAA is a fantastic idea to be fair, even reruns in the off-season would get decent viewing numbers. But then the GAA probably wouldn't generate the same revenue as they will with GAAGO so it could be a non-starter.

  3. Great show lads keep it up! Tell Skehill we are all taking his phrase about S#itting in his own pint for our own use. Classic Skehill. Also Tipp while the clearly left it behind them Saturday are probably in a good place to qualify. I really cant see Cork getting out of munster, at this point they look the weakest link. At times they were beaten up a stick by Tipp in the middle third.
Based on what we saw this last two weeks I expect clare to beat waterford and Cork in Ennis. Limerick will probably bounce back and beat Tipp. Tipp will probably beat a Waterford side with nothing to play for in their final game . With Tipp on 5, Clare on 6 This will result in a winner takes all game between Cork and Limerick in the Gaelic grounds . You would have to fancy Limerick .

  4. Great show again lads. Been sayin for ages that we need an irish sports channel like eurosport, it would be ideal. GAA, LOI, champions league, rugby and an assortment of other sports could easily be packaged into one channel

I dont think many would have an issue with payin a subscription for it tbh because you're getting value for money.

This talk of the gaa needin money for showin games is bollocks though. They make plenty from memberships, gate receipts, sponsorships and gaago (outside ireland). They just need to sack a few of the suits above in croke park and theyll have loads of extra money

  5. Format idea => Have Walsh cup longer and get rid of league for more competitive championship, make championship longer by having a draw so teams aren't playing the same teams every year like they are now .

Walsh cup be groups of 4 with top 2 qualifying for next round , however tops group goes to quater final and 2nd in the group goes into prem quater final .

The Championship can be groups of even numbers (possibly may be an odd number) and have some way to have the groups fair.

There can still be provincials by playing over shorter period .

There should also be a mini championship played within a 3 to 4 week period this mini championship would be to promote hurling and get stronger teams to play weaker teams .

For all this to happen the champions needs to be longer.

  6. Wexford have a strong team and loads of potential they need to stop taking shots from anywhere in the feild as most of the time they go wide why don't they pass it to the player in the better position ??

  7. Who do ye think will win for Tipp v Limerick

Also what players will be key

  8. Watching Declan Dalton under age he looked like a man against boys and he has progressed since. He has the skills but his aggression is something not many Cork forwards have shown in recent years.
I could not understand why Kieran Kingston didn't give him more game time last year but continued with similar lines ups which had just fallen short in the past.
Now that he's in the team and doing his stuff…I'm bulling. He's one of those players who's talent is obvious but also brings that 'streak' every team needs and the type you love if he's one of your own but hate if he's on the opposition team.

  9. Davy Fitz is brilliant manager most don't seem to know what his plans are for Waterford from what I've seen and heard so far this is what the plans seem to be.

    1. Have Taghd De Burca the main man in the backs which has not worked out since De Burca is now injured.

    2. Have Austin Glesson as an impact sub.

    3. Be confident in their free taking as they have been somewhat reliant on their free taker/taking ( Stephan Bennett

    4. Bring Dessie out more and play him more so has midfielder than his more natural position in the full Forward line

  10. For a draft would it be a good idea for each of ye to have a few teams to draft for implementing that idea suggested about keeping players, that way Skehill isn't trying to out think himself and Paul isn't eating weetabix
Like Skehill has Westmeath, Wexford, Cork, Kilkenny
Will has Antrim, Dublin, Tipp, Clare
And Paul has Wexford, Limerick, Galway, Waterford

  11. Love the show lads.
An idea to fix League, keep Provincial Finals and make Championship more equitable with a tiny tweak. (An it’s in part inspired by the NFL!)
Do away with the League knockout.
Instead highest placed team from each Province into Provincial Final, 2 & 3 play SFinals.
Seed 2 x 6 Championship Groups with Munster Winners & Leinster Runners Up in one, and vice versa in second.
(League would maybe be 8 team Divs with top 12 qualifying for Championship?)

  12. Has anyone considered that Cahill got the very most out of this Waterford team eg beating a cody kk in simi final getting to Munster final all Ireland final, winning a league final, and this Waterford team would have won at least one all Ireland, were it not for a once in a hundred years Limerick team , and it was this Limerick team that has broke this very talented Waterford team , and they will now never get back to the top ,or win anything again, as Tipp and Cork and Clare are now on the rise ,
