Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as McIlroy, Woods, Nicklaus, and Player. The 2023 PGA Championship is set to take place between May 18–21 at Oak Hill Country Club. The reigning champion is Justin Thomas.

  1. So much money in America 🤣 that looks like a full on nice bar compared to the clubhouses in UK 💰💰💰

  2. He will never feel greater walking into that clubhouse when he gets back! What a rare moment in time where everything for a second is just, perfect. Well done!

  3. Michael Block was the actual winner at the PGA Championship. Have you ever seen anything like that? Just fantastic.

  4. You couldn’t write this as a novel. As Mark Twain said: Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities, truth isn’t.

  5. GOLF needed this. What an amazing story. He became a fan favorite very fast. What a person he is and honestly the guy can really play. Hopefully he plays in more tournaments

  6. I'm gonna say there were not many people ON THE PLANET that had a better weekend than this man. No hyperbole.

  7. What a wonderful reaction! I'm sure that Mr. Block will be overwhelmed when he sees this video.I do have to say one thing though. Where are the brother's? There were a lot of people in that club but I can't see one person in there that isn't white. Just sayin'

  8. Serious question cuz I'm lacking in golf knowledge in general – how is it he qualified for this game/event? And, since he was eligible, why is it such a big deal he did well – honestly not meaning to troll, just trying to get some additional background…saw the hole in one shot – amazing!

  9. Poor guy has to pay taxes in New York AND California on his winnings. Poor guy also had to go and talk to the cretins of cable news.

  10. They said it was the shot of the day…not even close..more like one of the greatest shots in the history of golf..seriously,.in the last 20 yrs, the only shots i can remember
at a major..is tiger at 16 in 2005.. And phil at 13th 2010..that's it…this is top 10, hell, maybe even top 5 for greatest shots EVER..

  11. Sometimes a shot like that will bounce out of the hole. If it did, and assuming Block would tap in for birdie, he would have lost out on $74,000 in purse money, and, it would have dropped him out of a tie for 15th, the cut off for exemption into next years PGA. For being a local public golf professional, that single shot might just lock down retirement funding….

  12. Club Professionals spend 95% of their time doing everything other than playing golf…….so for this man to finish in the top 15 of a MAJOR is unreal!
Hat is off well done Michael Block!

  13. This was the best thing to happen for the pga. Absolutely amazing to watch all of these videos. Guy must be buzzing still
