    Totally fixed game. If you know ma long , you should know that's not how he plays. They are lacking a new gen of players that can hold the reign, and they need a new world champion.

    Not sure if Captain Ma has suddenly aged or his deputy has become so much better but looks like the tides are turning and the day is not far when we will see TT without Ma. It is reality and we have to brace for it.

    Ca reste étonnant que l'expérimenté Ma Long lâche si facilement cette finale… Qu'un Harimoto cède auparavant sans solution alternative, cela n'était pas aussi surprenant…

    Game 1 was absolutely crucial. Wang Chuqin played incredible to come back from the dead. And that gave him wings. Ma basically gave up after game 2.

    I feel like ma long didn't try as hard. But huge respect for WCQ. His performances in the last days were incredible

    it is what it is. At some point younger players from the team china get stronger, very simple.

    Even the dragon can't breathe 200-foot long flame anymore, it's still a great honor to stand on the other side of the table with him in a final. The 35-year old is already a legend, but he still maintains his top-5 ranking, keeps being the team lead and the team anchor. I think Ma Long will stay in top-10 for another several years. But I guess we may see a final between FZD and WCQ in 2024 Olympic.

    Is ist only me who thought there are a lot (!?!) wrong Services from WCQ? The Services are over the Table?!?

    For all those match fixing comments, here are some of the objective facts for you to consider:

    1) Wang Chuqin is world no. 2. Ma Long is no. 4 before the completion of this event.

    2) Wang Chuqin holds a 5-2 record against Ma Long prior to this match.

    3) Wang Chuqin is 3-0 against Ma Long in the most recent encounters.

    4) Ma Long has not won a major event since Tokyo Olympics.

    All the server of Wang are illegal… He hit the ball up on the table. I can't understand why umpire didn t notice this.

    Illegal serves, boosted rubbers, throwing rackets, screaming, delay of game…are allowed in TT.

    Ma Long was giving this match away to Wang Chuqin. It is so apparent from the way he handled the match.

    Nunca vi o Ma Long simplesmente desistir desse jeito. Claro, depois de ter tomado uma virada de 10-7 pra 10-12, deve ter mexido com a cabeça dele, mas cara… Foi simplesmente surreal como ele desistiu no 2° set, praticamente não lutou mais.
