This is CRAZY! I can’t believe none is telling you this! So many golfers simply have no idea how to square the club face in the downswing and this leads to those HIGH weak slice shots that are really costing you… especially when you slice driver! this is what all golf coaches are NOT telling you and its about building a relationship with how the wrists move in the golf swing to how you control the clubface
World top 50 golf coach Alex Elliott shows you how to control the club face in the downswing and The TRICK the CLUBFACE IN THE DOWNSWING The Downswing No One Tells You This

This just ales it SO EASY to understand! Who loves player cam on this one too?
Well done alex 🏌♂️ 👏 😊
I was doing this with plastic balls in the back yard adjusting my wrist position at the top😊
Perfect timing, just had my worst round ever (in my first tournament too) lots of problems but lots of practice planned this week. This is a huge help, thanks Alex!
Any tips on why I'm constantly hitting down, causing a top? It's weirdly crept into my game this last month
Turning my lead wrist in has transformed my game. I'm hitting 7 iron upwards of 180 now. Used to be my 150 club but now that's my 9 iron.
Each video offers excellent insight into the process of hitting your ball. Thank you Alex. By the way, I used your right toe-in on chips the other day! It worked very well. Like I’ve said, you’ll make me a good golfer yet! 😊👍
Amazing video Alex. Such clear instructions. Thank you.
Elliott give us lessons on where to put Lead tape on drivers, do you use Lead tape.
I have been working on this all year. When it is dialed in, it's easier golf for sure.
It finally clicked for me.
The AE on your shirts are your initials. For the longest time I thought you were just a big fan of American eagle
Excellent tip for squaring up.
Thanks again, Alex! Excellent explanation of the lead hand’s position.
On the flip side, can you show and explain to us why some pros prefer the cupped or bowed hand?
I started using the towel drill you published a few weeks ago, and it's served me well. I need to add this to my backswing.
excellent content as always
A great tip for squaring the club face at impact & hitting straighter shots! Practice, practice, practice…thanks Alex! 😊
22.54, can I ask, does this work with irons?
Cheers Alex.
Great tip for face awareness. Plus those Scottee’s have to be the best on the market 👍🏼
Dude, you’re getting sunburned!
I just noticed ur grip is a little "loose" ….. left thumb rather long way down the grip of the club disconnected from all fingers on that hand … usually u pro guys drag that thumb up against the other fingers to be more stable ….. unusual …. and please … just please stop the exaggeration and teach golf AS IT IS …. even those i'm helping are all messed up looking at stuff on YouTube cause of it …. Thx Alex though … really love those short on point videos…. just do it naturally as it is ….
Excellent recommendation and demonstration Alex on how to control the clubface in the downswing! I have been successfully using this flat left wrist and bent back right wrist on the both backswing and downswing for a while now. It definitely has improved my ball striking on both woods and irons! Highly recommended!
Great drill Alex thank you
It creates an athletic move. A beautiful swing Alex. It's the way to go. A result from the down, out, and up backswing. P.s. I just had to mention it again.😁 Nice video and the player cam is cool.
You make boring golf, so interesting. Thanks for bringing simple instruction and common sense to an otherwise confusing struggle fo most of us.
