MJ was born in New York and grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina…he used to have a pad on Wrightsville Beach. My brother in law met him and sat beside him on a flight back from surfing Hawaii. My brother in law didn't know who MJ was and asked him if he played bb?!😳 MJ smiled…I think MJ was at Carolina then. He was a surfer dude in his own little world. MJ gave him his autograph.🤗😋 We used to get him to tell this story at Thanksgiving dinner.
