I see them losing nine games this year. Looking at the 2023 schedule, 9 games out of 17 or whatever games left
So that might leave them 9/8 and that's if they don't lose to teams they're not supposed to lose to but I'm still doubtful. They'll make it to the playoffs but that's the projection night and eight

Baker has one thing in common with all great QBs. There is no middle with him. That's why I think Cleveland couldn't keep Baker after the Watson trade. There is still a divide in that fanbase today. When Watson is playing up to his level, he is a top ten QB. Maybe top 5, and that's without a line to protect him.
Baker Mayfield had a good rookie year, even with Hue Jackson. He regressed in year two because Kitchens should have never been a head coach, but Baker also developed bad habits. He rebounded in year three, led the Browns to a playoff win. Then when expectations rose, he sank. No excuses this time, I guess you could blame his injury. But he made that decision. To me Baker rises to meet the hate, but sinks to meet the love.

Bro is mr inconsistent. One week it was immaculate, the next two were horrendous. Ive watched every single browns game since 2018. Dude is not the guy. Hes too short and not athletic enough to make up for it.

Browns fan here. I wish nothing but the best for Baker. He was good for us, screwed by coaching changes and, I think, playing through an injury that should have ended his season. I hope he has the same type of career as Jim Plunkett.

The story of Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold should serve as a cautionary tale about the crapshoot known as the NFL Draft. They were considered, by far, as the 2 best QB prospects of that draft. Neither has shown that. It's all really just best guess.
I've always had a soft spot for Baker. I think he can be quite good. But as a Saints fan I hope, and I feel, that Bucs are going to be trash this year. At least offensively. Saints and Panthers defense are too good, and even Falcons will be tough to beat with their offense

Mayfield has been very talented when he is Uninjured, Well coached and behind a solid O-line. Going to the Rhule lead panthers was only going to end poorly.

Football is football, either you could play or not. He's a below average quarterback, I think he's definitely proved that. His ego is simply too fragile to be great. He had no business being a number one pick either, it was a reach and did not quite make it. A lot of his nice throws are from a pristine pocket, those that anyone can make. He has proven his decision making is very poor when pressed.
As a Buccaneers fan they have not given Kyle Trask any chance. If they are going with Baker Mayfield, he has been a Playoff QB, they need to release Kyle Trask to give him an opportunity elsewhere. I believe that Mayfield could be our guy, just get rid of the commercials and put the work in.
