To assess the relative success of a player’s career, it is generally useless to consult the PGA Tour’s career money list. Jack Nicklaus’ ranking of 346th all time with $5734031 does not make sense, even if Tiger Woods’ $120 plusmillion fortune makes sense for him to be at the top.
Even still, receiving $10 million without winning indicates that you have some experience and aptitude. Missing cuts and doing T 48 each week won’t get you there. Here’s a tip of the hat to these ten men who have succeeded by being only marginally better than crushingly average.
