10-BALL: SKYLER WOODWARD VS JAYSON SHAW – 2023 DERBY CITY CLASSIC

Jayson Shaw takes on Skyler Woodward in the round one of the Derby City Classic Bigfoot 10-Ball Challenge.

Both players had great 2022 campaigns, and were looking to start off the new year in the right way. They had just met in the finals of the Turning Stone Classic a few months ago, where Shaw won in a hill-hill battle.

Shaw was a three time winner of the 10-Ball Challenge, amongst his long line of accomplishments.

Woodward is a former Derby City 9-Ball and All Around Champion. He had yet to conquer the Bigfoot table, at a major event.

Jeremy Jones and Mark Wilson called the action.

  1. Wow Shaw not only a poor sport but a cheater as well 🤦‍♂️. Fckin guy has won the big foot 3 times can’t tell me he doesn’t know the rules . Sad so much talent was put into such a un gentleman shooter.

  2. Hear me out…for all the considerable efforts expended on producing truly random numbers; perhaps break shots are a worthy contender for randomness, especially when the numerical values of the balls remaining are factored in. Like a lava lamp, the distribution of the pool balls after the break, weighted by their numerical values, and evaluated properly (cough cough), is about as random as anything needs to be.
    Like he said:
The generation of random numbers is too important to be left to chance.

  3. Love the Accu-Stats Video Productions. They call the balls by their numbers not "red three" or "green six" etc PLUS – and this is a big one – there are almost NO slow motion instant replays. The viewer can sit down, watch a good match and get into the rhythm of the players without being interrupted with endless slow motions after breaks or every other shot. You guys are doing fantastic job. Such a good product you do. Thank you!!!!!!!!
