Man City '23 would beat Manchester Utd '99 4-0. Totally different stratosphere. They are the Harlem Globe Trotters come to life. Same with Liverpool 70s/80s, Leeds 65-75, Forest 78-80, Arsenal 03/04 . Chelsea 04-06 would be interesting however

90's & early 2000's was best era for prem. Teams used to come at big teams and go at them either way they could. Teams don't think how they want to play against and how they going to affect the other team

Tactically the City team is lightyears ahead of the 99 team. I think if you could put the 99 team into the modern day with modern fitness levels and tactics then it'd be far more even
