After 2 weeks of solid building on the darkfest course it’s time for everyone’s favourite, the trick stepup! We finish up building that then it’s time to get the bikes out and get some tyres on course! We get up to speed on the Hellsend table line with a few tricks before heading over to the new section with the 55ft roadgap! Andrew Neethling opens things up and we get to feel the true speed into the 110 for the first time. A few hits on the stepup and that rounds up a decent first day testing!

Hi there my name is Cayle Furniss, and I personally, think that 2022 was my favourite dark fest as the riders were determined and quick to think. But 1st place is where Bienvenido Aguado’s talent became present. Bienvenido Aguado's win at the Dark Fest MTB Series was nothing short of epic. As I watched him hurdle through the air on his YT, while the crowd watched in awe as he deftly navigated the treacherous course. The sound of his wheels hitting the rugged terrain echoed throughout the valley, signaling his determination and skill as a rider. With each jump and turn, Aguado channeled his inner power, and his incredible performance left no doubt that he was the worthy champion of this fierce event. His energy was infectious, and his victory was a testament to his passion and dedication to the sport of mountain biking. The crowd and I cheered as Aguado crossed the finish line, his victory an inspiration to all those who dare to chase their dreams. Thank u and I hope u guys liked my description of it😭😂
My favorite Dark Fest seeing Jordie sending it ! Always rode as hard as he could !
Hi Sam, I have been a fan of darkfest since I started riding my bike 3 years ago. I think my favourite moment was when daniel ruso had that huge crash on the jump before the big hip where he landed on his shoulder. It wasn't funny or sth else but it showed me how big and difficult those jumps in south africa are and how talented you have to be to ride the lines. I hope noone of you will injure himself this year and I am keen to watch the following vids. Cheers Lorenz
best moments are from Adolf silva, either the save on the big jump or the dub back slam
My favourite moment was when Bienvenido Aguado landed a front flip on the 90ft
Yoo I'm so hyped for this years Darkfest! Best moment? Bienvenidos frontflip for sure… Love the dnb and jungle soundtrack in this video! Cheers!
My favourite moment was when Bienve Aguado did the line in his g string underwear and also when he backflip one foot canned the 90 footer. His style and goofiness was just the best to watch last year. Cant wait to see more riders sending the biggest tricks this year!
That shovel pat down at the start is in triplets with the tune behind it.
The best moment was on the 2021 édition when Kade Edwards miss understand full speed, goes too far on the step up and Land to flat. Because all one think it isn't possible.🤣🤣
I’ve been watching darkfest for about three years and my favorite moments have been seeing all the skill, time, effort, and decision making that goes in to building all the trails. It is super impressive and inspiring.
In 2018 i think, the 80 footer was made The best moment of all time
Last year when you nearly rode the bonnet on the dark fest Bakkie on the road gap!!
Best moment for me was the big loop a few years ago! But the frontflip last year by Bienvenido was also massive.
And I'm stoked for this 110 ft gap, it's gonna be epic!
Does anyone know the name of the music?
Should invite brage vestavik out next year his pure steez on the big jumps would be insane to see
My favourite moment is just seeing everyone have a good time and enjoy riding with each other ❤❤❤❤
My favorite moment is Tom Isted's frontflip tuck nohander. Going a second time after that crash… I would love to have courage like that!
Favourite Darkfest moment – Has to be Crimmy-B's original Nutty-P haircut 🤣
The first flip on the 90footer 😻
Sam…. We need an upload 🙏
Does anyone know how to watch Darkest
my best moment from the very first darkfest well maybe it wasnt part of the darkfest but when (unknown rider) did the massive loop de loop at trail park in knysna. It is one of the best moments i know from that pure darkness setup.
Vink’s 2020 manual 😍
My best moment was when Nicholi Rogatkin tried to cashroll the step up on dh bike in 2018 darkfest
My favorite moment from 2018 was Carson Storch's 720 up the step up!
i love how they destroyed one of the doubles with the digger straight after someone rode off it
My favorite moments of Darkfest overall were when Clemens Kaudella showed some insane tricks in 2020 and the absolute STEEZY🔥 runs Simon Godziek did in 2021. Also someone did a 360 on the hip, insane, couldn't really find who did it ❤🤙

WHIPFEST 2024
For me, the best moment was Adolf's double flip crash and redemption in 2019. Pretty gnarly to have that crash at that speed but send again shortly after – what a beast 👌
favorite moment was when Tom Isted landed the frontflip on the 100ft road gap with the emotional breakdown after
I will tell you about the secret of a collision with an electric scooter unpleasant sensations (and especially when there are as many as two crazy people🤫
