The Adams heaven 7
I would imagine with the way he’s been playing pretty much all year. Taylormade is probably drawling up a new contract as we speak.
I moved to the G410 a couple of years ago after 10 years with a custom fitted R9 Supertri. G410 now makes up the top end of the Bag Driver 5W, 7W 4&5 Hybrids! I230’s also about to make their way into the bag!! Simon let me know if your interested in taking the MP20’s and some T20 wedges off my hands!
Don’t suppose you have done a vid on the need to upgrade wedges regularly?
Maybe Jason Day usee the older irons as retribution for being dropped by TM. Nothing would do more to destroy TM's business model if their new clubs are shown to be no better than their half priced older versions. Hype and branding is what you pay for in their new clubs.
RBZ HL5 wood 21 degrees paid $40 for it just saying
If you want a cheaper 7 wood I can recommend the Mizuno JPX850 if you an find one. I paid about £70 for mine.
so I should get that 1 iron🤔
If it works it works.
Nothing else matters. It what we all should learn from jason😀
I used to use a 7 wood way back when I was 18-19. Worked great. Then when I started up the game again 2 years ago at age 37, 7 woods are back hot and expensive 🤣
Still looking for that cheap second hand one.
Can we have more on course vids please
I got a cobra f7 womens 5 wood for $69. Same loft as a 7 wood. Love it!
Found a Ping G series 7 wood at a local used golf store for 90. It had to weak of a shaft for me but I bought an adapter and a used 5 wood shaft and epoxied it in there. It’s my go to off the tee for tight fairways.
I rarely see anyone that changing to new clubs improves their game, in fact gong from forged club to game improvement has among my friends have made their games worse.
I play g410 LST at 9 degrees with a after market 18 gram weight and g425 Alta cb shaft due to breaking my old one, it hits Bombs for sure
back in 2008 i bought a cheap box set of dunlop clubs, and while they was basically junk ( i still have them in my garage lol ) for some reason i could hit the 3 wood really good! there was a lot of times, i'd just tee off with the 3 wood off the deck because i could hit it so well. even after i bought newish irons and a driver, i'd still keep that 3 wood in the bag. but unfortunately a couple years ago i dont know what happened to that 3 wood.
Everything since 2016 M1/M2 came out, Nothing is longer. Different drivers just sit different at address.
Sniped a ~27 year old 3-9 iron set of Wilson Prostaff irons yesterday for a good deal and played a round with them today just to try them out. They felt amazing and hit just as well as my current modern set aside from the age of the grips. They might even become my main set once I get new grips on them.
A cheap 7 wood is a ladies 5 wood.
Bet Taylor Made are talking to him now..
I think pricey clubs is a complete scam. I bought a $500 pair of Calaway edge's three years ago and they took me from a 20hcp too a 6… granted I did have the Calaway epic driver, 4,5,6 hybrid but I am still using the irons and I plan on buying a set of those honmas from costco to replace them.
I think the putter may be a limited edition or a possible international release version like japan only or something. I know my friend had one that read limited but don't know of any that read Rossa, Taylormade and Ghost like that. Digging closest I saw was one Japanese for sale listing thats long dead.
You can get a brand new fitted PXG 0211 7 wood for $149 right now. I replaced my Callaway Heaven Wood with the PXG a couple of months ago and love it.
Jason Day has been off the spotlight for so long that I doubt he has a club sponsor hence he just plays whatever he likes. Goes to show that even at the pro level, it makes little sense to upgrade to the newer releases.
Bought a set of 80's Wilson Sam Snead's for £30.Extended them by 1 inch, regripped them and I'm now playing my best golf ever.If it works,it works.
Mate the putter is the”itsy bitsy” version. JDay was one of the first to use the early spiders and this is the smaller head design. Pretty common from a few years ago.
love it, well done, what a coup it would be to get Jason on here, do a little challenge while picking his brain
I do wonder sometimes what tour pro bags would contain if they could choose every club themselves. I know Adam Scott uses an old set of Titleists that have been out of the market for years. Personally, I'm fairly pleased with my old 962s.
The putter is the Taylormade itsy bitsy spider.
I heard of Adam Scott swapping his 4-iron for a 7-wood now. So I recently bought a Cobra F-Max Airspeed 7-wood second hand for a try. Unfortunately the shaft proves too light, probably intended to lady golfers.
Now I must find another wood with a much stiffer shaft. Any clue?
I love my p7mc
He was the spokesperson and face of the P7mc maybe he was still living out his days as the face of ™
