I watched the whole game 7, Embiid is the biggest blame. After Harden picked up the flagrant in the 2nd his play was terrible effort was lackluster. You're announced as MVP, you're the star on the team. I expect you to leave it on the floor and make the best effort for your team to win, I ain't see them in Embiid. Ion think it's the coach but I understand the organization saying, "Look, something's gotta change." Doc is one of my favorite coaches, so I hate to see him lose his job, but I'm not going to say I don't understand the organizations decision
Doc rivers won ONE championship with 4 hall of famers and ever since was deemed a "great" coach, but why?
If you up 3-1 and lose that’s not on the coach that’s on the players.

I like Doc, but when you are hailed as a "great" coach you have to at least get a team further than the "average" coach you replace.

I agree I blame James Harden for this
His best players wilting is a combination of shortening his bench to much, late series adjustments, and low motion offenses that lose elements as seties go on. This doesn't mean he is bad, but he needs good assistant coaches.

Contrived contrarian takes like this are really no better than mindless hot takes. So he has the most abysmal record of teams falling apart in the playoffs and blowing leads, just completely collapsing at the end of series, and we are supposed to, what, just ignore that? What do we judge a coach on then? Like why even have a coach that gets paid 5 million a year?
