All that tick tock tick tock nonsense as not aged well, considering it was because he was gonna fight Usyk in February, here we are in mid May and no sign of a fight, Fury terrified of losing.
The matchup with aj is wrong for him coz aj can come forward and has SKILLS.. throws combos and can take a shot opposite to the narrative… Usyk is a wrong matchup for him too…. Fury is an opportunist… He fought a fraud in wilder who was fighting no ones… Gotnortiz of his peds to fight him the 1st time and still needed a red stoppage to help him recover.. Fury is terrified of losing his 0 as its the only thing close to a legacy he has…he never became undisputed, never cleaned out his division n proved himself to be the best of his era like Ali, Louis, Lewis, Holmes etc, he has only been in 6 title fights his whole career..3 of them against Wilder and his only 3 title defences include 2 guys he had beat twice already…even his trilogies were pointless…its not like Bowe vs Holyfield or Ali vs Frazier where we had 2 close competitive fights that needed a rubber match, no..again he beat up guys he already beat convincingly.. twice ..he is not a dominant or feared champion in the way Mike Tyson or George Foreman were, he is not a huge PPV superstar like Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather or even AJ. I'm sad to say this, but it is looking more and more like the truth. The thing is I think Fury would beat Usyk, although I think it would be close. I'm a huge Fury fan, but now I hear he said he would love to fight Joshua. Is this a distraction from the Usyk issue? I don't know, but should Joshua say let's get it on, how much of a cut in money would Joshua be offered, and how much would he accept to fight. So I'm thinking are we going to be going down the silly money road. If he only wanted Usyk who holds belts to have 30% of the prize money for a fight, how much less then for Joshua who does not have any belts on the line. Tyson if you are reading this, just get the Usyk fight on at whatever cost because that is the only way you are going to save face. As for being scared of losing, the greatest of fighters in history have lost at some point. This Usyk fight has to happen, some of us still believe in you Tyson, I know you can do it, you just got to show it. Prove all the haters wrong, and you'll never have to prove anything again. Make this fight happen Gypsy King, make the traveller community proud again. If you can beat all the odds to become a world champion again, you can beat anyone. Nuff said.
We knew this when he refused to give Wlad the rematch. Fury is a very good fighter, but he will never be one to take on all comers on an even basis. Some want to be the best, and some want to be perceived as the best. The former do it primarily in the ring, while the latter do it primarily via marketing. What is most frustrating to me is that i think Fury is actually the best right now, yet he doesn't seem to believe in himself enough as a fighter to run the risk of undoing his carefully crafted marketing persona.
Everyone knows that Tyson is waiting to age out Usyk. Tyson isn't exactly a dedicated fighter so he's keeping the rodeo going to keep himself relevant.
Fury was fast to fight wilder knowing that he lacked in the skill department but this fight is different.
Fury figures if Usyk's legs give out a little over the years then he will be easier to prepare for. Risky because Usyk is more dedicated than Fury but he's willing to wait it out.
Worst case scenario Fury retires, vacates the title then claims Usyk ducked him. 😂

I agree that he seems afraid of losing and ever since the Wallin fight, he seems very hesitant to face a boxer. He wants brawlers that he can manouver around, but he seems terrified to face someone who could challenge him in the sweet science even a little.
So now Wilder has strangely been moved to no1 in the WBA rankings , and DDD is in doubt after changing trainer…do think there is something going on we don't know about? I.e. the plan is for Usyk to be forced to fight Wilder. That way Fury has a chance of avoiding Usyk completely and fighting Wilder again…😴
