  1. What a set of jokers .
They obviously can’t play this game.
Stan is taking is time because it’s the biggest game of his young life.
He is bound to be nervous . You can tell by his mannerisms that he is inspired by Shaun Murphy. When he is on a break he plays as fast as most players .
Good luck to him 👍 and forget the jokers .

  2. It drains my motivation as a late-30s bloke when I think "maybe I should start taking my snooker/darts/guitar/piano etc seriously again" then I turn on YouTube and there's literally children who are 1000x the level I could ever hope to be even if I practised every day for the next 10 years lmao 😂 in 10 years time (when Stan is 26) I bet he already has 2 or 3 World Champs to his name! 💪

  3. He looks young because he hasn’t hit puberty yet. It’s the same for many adolescents. Some hit at a later point.

  4. Kid is a special special talent. No doubt about it. Hopefully he fulfills his potential.

  5. Funny how is already a bit fat like half of snooker players.
    Or maybe that's just brits.

  6. He’s know the shots, has the skill and technique to be one of the greats like John Higgins or Mark Selby but I hope he speeds up around the table

  7. He has a way to be quite smooth on some of his shots, balls going gracefully towards their destinations. He shows great shot control. But in between, his movements around the table still look pretty nervous. If he masters that energy, and transforms it into even better analysis and anticipation, he could be unstoppable. No need to be tense, Stan, breathe …

  8. He's boring. I don't care if he's 16, he makes Peter Ebdon look interesting!
    🥱🥱🥱

  9. Stan plays a poor positional shot at 7:01, leaving the cue ball against the cushion. He takes a while to consider his next red, after which he intends to leave himself on the brown. The cue ball isn't where he would have liked it to have been, so he has a quick look to see if the yellow will be a better option. But when he gets down to play the brown. as he originally intended, he quickly realises that the yellow is a better option, so changes his mind. As you read this, you probably think I'm being critical of him, but I'm actually very impressed. These shots show that he doesn't get flustered when things don't go his way, and he can adapt when necessary. When the choice was between brown (which he had played for, and which was easier to pot) and yellow, he didn't think "I played for the brown, so I'm going to take the brown", but adapted quickly enough to realise that the yellow, although being a harder pot, would give him much better position. He is clearly a very thoughtful player and I hope he goes a long way.
