Larry Mahan was the first rodeo cowboy who"s name i ever knew,he was 9 years older than me,I live in lakegeorge,co and went into the cowhand western store in woodland park,co and found out he lived park county in guffy,co found he had a ranch 8 miles down the road the road from,I was always proud of that,GOD BLESS Larry.

  2. I bought Ty a beer in Kissimmee and we talked about getting under the rigging because I was having trouble. He could have said thanks and walked away but he stayed until we finished the beer and made a impact on me and one of favorite rodeo moments.Thanks Ty King of Cowboys.

  4. My high-school wrestling coach wrestled him in high-school . Larry was a good wrestler and won a district championship, he grew up in Oregon.

  6. Nothing more fitting than the King of the cowboys.. paying respect for a King of the cowboys. My hero as a bullrider when I was in high school rodeo in 1989 in Florida on into the Prca was Ty. Larry Mahan and Ty Murray the Kings of Rodeo. Rest in peace Mr Mahan
