*** Full Swing Master Class HERE *** https://fullswingmasterclass.porzakgolf.com/

In this video Mike, teaches you the secret to connection in the backswing. By keeping the body, arms and hands in line with each other, you can create a more consistent golf swing. Once connected the golfer can simple rotate and the club face will strike the back of the ball time after time.

  1. Great video y'all.
So I've always been curious, what is the role of right hand and arm during the different phases of the swing?

  2. Nice video´s – but overall it seems all the golfers here on the channel, they try to learn the same swing = text book stuff.
But overall for avarage golfer this will not be archivable, as the talent and propably age is not there. But still a great youtube place to watch the text book learnings

  3. For some reason, this just clicked! For a guy who struggles with a right arm getting behind and backswing getting too long, this just turned the lightbulb on! Thank you.

  4. My miss is left and sometimes heavy. Literally never miss right other than occasionally with driver, maybe once in 20.

This is so useful thank you again! It’s like you somehow know what’s wrong with my game, serendipitous!

  5. Ive been working on this exact same issue (club in front of the body) for the past month and couldn't get it fixed… I just ran into this video and I had an epiphany. Wow can't wait to try this out on the range. Thanks!

  6. Left arm dominant in the back swing. What arm should be dominant in the through swing? Is it still left?

  7. I can relate to the trail arm fault. I’m short in stature and a little muscular in the upper body and have a difficult time getting my elbows to stay close to each other. I needed this, thanks!

  8. I really need to keep my arms closer together. Love the open right hand drill. Always enjoy seeing Mike teach as well.

  9. I am nearly 60 years old, live in New Zealand and hitting the ball better than previous years thanks to online PORZAK golf tuition. Your video content is brilliant, with great and simple explanation. Keep it going please.

  10. Once again, a great online teaching session by the gurus of golf instruction… And the open right hand takeaway is pure gold…

  11. Great video as always! When you talk about using the back of the left arm and shoulder to accelerate the club in the downswing, how does this not result in ‘pulling the handle’ and consequently steepening the shaft?

  12. I just found your channel and i have been watching as many videos as i can! I just started playing golf a little less than a year ago but very eager to learn more and more and continue to improve. Being a leftie, i would love to see some tutorials from the left side to get more of the look and feel for certain body positioning. Love the videos that i have watched so far and looking forward to watching all of them. 🙂

  13. Great video(s). Always detailed and explained where you can see what you’re trying to get across.

  14. excellent lesson, totally makes sense when you talked about that elbow cheating the turn instead of the shoulders doing it. looks like i got some work to do.

  15. Never thought i could learn from just watching a video, but you guys make it so easy to understand.

  16. People do not value this content enough. My land o lakes of butter these Porzak bros made me quit taking Prozac for my swing. This video is saved in my vault. Gosh thank you. I hit 200 balls the other day and this has to be part of the pull hook. 170 out 200 were pulled.

  17. Great lesson and video. I suffer from this very same thing (I am sure there are other faults as well but I know this is one of them). I film my swing over and over again and consistently see this fault in my swing. Lately I have been working on better rotation which has helped but my right arm still gets "stuck" which I have attributed to lack of connection in the back swing. I am rather athletic and moderately muscular and I have always relied on this to get me through. But this is not even close to enough and probably gets me in trouble. I need better structure and fundamentals. Anyways, thanks for the vid and will definitely give these drills a try.

  18. How do I incorporate proper wrist action to get more power in my swing while keeping arm connection with the body?

  19. Yurp, my hands definitely DO NOT stay in front of me. I am feverishly trying but my "EVERYTHING" in my motion is WRONG!!!" When it works, 200 yds 7 irons pop in and give me hope as I fly the green by 50 yds. 99% of the time when it does not, 150 is a wish with my driver. Been close to quitting several times a season as my ADHD ensures I am not a golfer but a hacker…..LOL

  20. I’m sure you’ve heard this before but I have the baseball swing. Played a lot of baseball as a kid and then coed softball as I aged. That swing is ingrained in my sub conscience. On top of that, I was a right handed dead pull power hitter. That leads to flipping the wrists and weight landing on my back foot. When I slow down, I can make myself get the weight in the front side but I tend to spray it all over the place. I’ll pull one, make and adjustment and then loose the next one right. I’m a train wreck lol

  21. The right arm giving blood at address has been golden for me. That combined with the hip bump has allowed me to consistently hit the ball. The only issue I'm having is I'm leaving the face open about 6-9 degrees but no side spin (per my launch monitor) so the path seems fine but of course my shots are going a bit right of target.
