I've not done much with golf so apologies if this is a lame question, but when it comes to betting outright winners is it really better to take a player outright than it is to parlay their H2H match ups? Conceptually isn't an outright the same as 100ish leg parlay of one guy against the field anyway? I feel like the parlay route would pay more often as in theory it should cash way more often while asking the player to do less. Would this also apply as an alternative way to get a better payout on the favorites to finish top 10 or something like that?
