We all know that the PAC is a research and athletic conference! However, BY announced in his opening press conference that the Big 12 is an entertainment and events conference. While I am sure that the Big 12 Conference is going to do athletics, I am wondering about the level of entertainment (concerts, television shows )collegiate got talent, investor shark tanks, comedy central), movies that promote conference and school brands with the prospect of Disney) and events (inventions shows, tech shows, trade shows, job shows, etc)? The opportunities could involve the Big 12 member schools of performing arts, animation studios, communications, screenwriting, actors, directors, producers, audio/visual, etc) all for an international audience. The reason I am wondering about these things is due to who is on the Big 12 advisory board. In fact, the advisory board may also show where the Big 12 is going in its western expansion.
