Dave's game has improved a lot. Keep up the good work!
No figure for carry and spin?
Why not try the high launch Ping like that James had got for his dad and demo’d a few days ago?
Seen some good results with TSR2 for slower swing speeds could be worth comparing to TSR1 ?
I recently switched from a Ping G425 Max 12* 40G shaft to the TSR1 40G senior shaft. My SS is 88-90 and I am getting 5-10 yards more than the G425. The Ping is ever slightly more forgiving but not by much. I definitely feel my ball speed is faster with the TSR1. The trade off is the movable weight but I thing the adjustable hosel offers plenty of adjustability. The other thing I’m trying to get used to is the shallower face of the Titleist. I have to tee the ball lower than the Ping. But, so far, I am pleased with my new driver.
Would like to see Dave try out Mizuno Hot Metal or Hot Metal HL irons. Thanks for this series–I enjoy it.
It seems like the TSR1 was a good 10+ yrds longer than the Paradym? How was the dispersion?
So, how were the numbers Vs the Paradigm? Also Chris, I notice that in the last couple of videos you haven’t been showing the shots on the simulator. I found this quite useful for dispersion etc. BTW, what’s happened to the ‘break 80’ series?
Still loving the series Chris. Any plans for the Wilson Dynapower?
Would this be a good driver choice if you have a even slower swing than Daves (around 80 mph) or is there better drivers out there for that ?
I would very much like to see a slow swinger compare a heavenwood to a normal 5 or 3 wood to see distances 🏌️♂️
Hi Chris & Dave this is the test I’ve been waiting for 👍, “Brilliant” TSR1 Driver 12deg loft 45gram R shaft, One month ago had Driver test :-Para/dym, Ping Max & HL, TaylorMade Stealth 2, the last club tested was the TSR1 (the fitter suggested it) from the very first drive with it loved it👍, super feel, high straight launch, 15yds extra Carry & Distance on my Rogue(out performed all other Drivers tested)👌, with extra club head & ball Speeds, so bought it 😁, after 2nd fitting & I am delighted with its Performance👍, the light weight build worked great for me, (unlike some of the other makes), Thanks Chris, Dickey 9hcp 76year senior golfer
Cool video. I'd appreciate an entire episode devoted to shaft weight and how it applies in regard to flex.
It would be awesome to see the Kirkland irons when the come out, rumour is they will be released this spring, so should be soon 🤞
Sorry if I've missed it guys, but what wedges did Dave pick????
if you max Dave’s club head speed then won’t that muck up driver he is fitted for ???
Went to the tsr 2 a month ago after getting rid of the rogue st max d and have to say its a beast of a driver
Let’s see Dave try the Mizuno Jax 223 hot medal irons
Cool video!
How did his distances compare to the Callaway?
I've said this on James channel before but I'd never owned a Titleist driver until picking up a bargain Tsi2 from Golfclubs4cash…. Still in the wrapper too. There is nothing to not like and I've tried a few drivers and brands over 20yrs. The tsi2 is easily the best of them all and I'm saving for the tsr2. What's not to like…. Looks class, sounds class and forgiveness is off the scale. Fellow golf afficionados, if you haven't already tried a tsi or tsr driver then you probably need to.
Has Dave tried a PXG driver yet I would like to see what he thinks of them.
Great content Chris I am enjoying the series. Are you considering doing this with a single digit handicap? I am playing off an 8.0 and I seem to be in a blind spot for content. I have no aspirations of becoming a scratch but I am working to get to a 7. Regardless, Dave your improvement is noticeable. Just like you I have landed on the TSR range.
Would like to see comparison of Takomo T101 vs Ram FX 77
