With Jimmy recently winning the world seniors again and your history you simply have to have him on the channel!
I went to an exhibition of Dennis's a few years ago. He told a story about when Hendry won his first first world championship. "He had promised his family that if he won the tournament he'd take them all for a slap up meal. So there they were that night at the local Beefeater. Stephen's younger sister didn't finish his steak so Steven said to the waiter "Could you wrap up that steak and we'll take it home for the dog." "Brilliant!" screamed his brother "did you hear that mom? We're going to get a dog."
What a guy. What a commentator too…keeps it simple buy puts the Eurosport lot away with aplomb. Can listen to his stories all day

I love this channel, Having followed Stephen through his career as a fellow Scotsman, what I didn’t know was his winning mindset until watching these videos, his raw mentality it’s about him, winning, nothing else matters, i see comparison with myself , and it’s good to see him interacting, something I struggle to do. The 1985 final showed that Snooker is most watchable when there's back and forth and unpredictable misses. Today the players are almost too good it kills the drama

One of my favourite snooker breaks by @StephenHendry777 is 1993 World Championship final frame 1 vs Jimmy White. Jimmy takes the break off shot gets the cue ball back to the baulk end of the table but not the baulk cushion, Stephen takes his first shot of the match on a red and pots it and goes on to make a total clearance break of 136. From his very first visit to the table in the match.
This cue tips show by Stephen is amazing .. being a snooker fan since I was very young im 42 now, seeing all the different players from various eras chatting having a laugh is so great, they are seem like a great bunch of ppl

Some years ago i was playing golf at Prestatyn. Afterwards in the clubhouse we discovered a snooker table .So i was down on a shot with the blue to the middle pocket when somebody opened these concertina type doors that opened up the main room. Right behind the blue in my line of sight was Dennis leaning against the bar on his elbow looking right at me taking my shot!. It was just so weird . After the game though we talked with him for a bit and he really is a very nice, down to earth fella. I noted when we were leaving that HE put his hand out for a handshake first rather than us which says something to me.
