who really cares
You guys are knuckleheads….1st off… what is he supposed to say standing in the Rangers locker room. Second…I'm sure he hasn't really given it any serious thought after the Rangers were booted. There has to be some real moving the arrow upward by Davidson instead of completely wrecking this club like he has. Don't care what anyone one says about this rebuild….the fact is a lot of the teams we beat in the cup days are still competing for one today. Bowman and this clown Davidson have really screwed the pooch period. This has to be frustrating to guys like Kane and Toews.
I didn't think he would return after he requested to leave Chicago. They are not the best team right now
Lackluster performance in playoffs for Rangers, they dont even want him back..Breadman combo did not workout and now they are talking about getting rid of the lazy Russian too. Kane will never make anywhere near the 10m a year he's been pulling down–not with that bad hip and untested if he gets a new one…Thanks for the Memories.

I really don't think he shut the door on anything. He said he wouldn't rule out staying with the Hawks 2 weeks before demanding a trade…I didn't take much from what he said. Shutting the door would've been "No way, there's one place I won't go and that's Chicago." He said he hadn't thought about it and it hadn't crossed his mind bc of the rebuild. But the fact is, his market isn't going to be very hot, the Rangers experience was a complete bust, it ruined the team chemistry and he's been very open about an injury that has severely hampered his play. Idk how many teams are gonna be banging down his door at his price until they see where his health is at. Unfortunately, I think it's more so the Hawks not wanting HIM back…which is a travesty. The door should always be open to #88 and #19 and Davidson seems to be taking a different approach. Hell, the Hawks IG didn't even include a picture of Kaner when they posted all their draft picks from recent years- it had Crow, Keith, Toews, Saad…no Kaner.
