The PGA Tour has 27 sponsors who do $40 billion worth of business in Saudi Arabia on an annual basis but that’s a completely different thing than being owned by the Saudi Arabian government like LIV is or in the case of Aramco which is a Saudi company who is the largest sponsor for the LPGA. Gotta love the false equivalency many people use!!! Remember the 40 billion dollars are being spent in Saudi Arabia NOT on the PGA tour or America by sponsors who are NOT Saudi companies but companies who also do business with the rest of the world as well as Saudi Arabia. Selling shaving cream to Saudi citizens or John Deere tractors to farmers in SA is not the same as being a de facto employee of the Saudi Arabian government or the South African. Saudi Arabia’s government is made up of by bad actors, but that do not mean that fed-ex shouldn’t deliver packages within Saudi Arabia. The people of Saudi Arabia shouldn’t be barred from receiving goods or services from the western world due to their vicious leadership. That’s how capitalism work! Remember sanctions and embargoes under the United Nations system must be imposed ONLY when there is a threat of or actual breach of international peace and security.
