Maybe Jonathan Gannon also benefited from a great defensive roster that covered up some of his blindspots as a coach…one blindspot being the need to better respond to motion. I bet Andy Reid didn't try the motion plays until late in the game because he really thought the Eagles would be more ready for that. After seeing it work Reid's like, "Fire up the smoker boys! It's time for some celebratory BBQ!"
The NFL is slowly becoming more and more corrupt. Just look at the gambling issue, it'll only get worse as time goes on.
Steichen did it too but his interview was ALLOWED because it was his 2nd interview. People do you really think Gannon didn't put his all into his job? BTW they took the word Gullible out of the dictionary. SMH

Hard to tell if Gannon was distracted or just not amazing as a coordinator. He was never great against good QBs. I agree that if it was him being distracted the NFL definitely would not want it out there.
Defense was clearly not prepared for what should have been an easy game for them. Gannon was NOT worried about it

The main issue to why the NFL doesn't wanna wait until February to do interviews is because College Football starts hiring around December 10th, so they'll get the pick of the litter.

When did Florio turn into the Alex Jones of the NFL? Between Simms say "I wanna say," or "I am like." And annoying ass Florio thinking he is the smartest man in football, as an Eagles fan I am more annoyed at the video, than the result. The important thing here wasn't the interview, it is what all the fans have been saying for 2 years. Gannon wasn't a good coach, what explains all the other times he has had his lunch handed to him?

If it doesn't work out for the cardinals this year… we all will know why. But the good news is that they will have nice draft capital to help entice any head coach to join them.

Why does the NFL allow ANY interviews for coaches during the playoffs? MLB does not allow this because if any coach can interview, a playoff coach is at a competitive disadvantage for the open spots…because of his success! NFL should change the rules.

Florio is lawyer and tells us rich powerful people lie to us all the time. But he was so adamant that everyone take their government vitamins. That is a contradiction.
There needs to be a rule change. No interviews during the playoffs.
Gannon screwed us bad
