  1. Been using Oncore Elixir for almost 2 years now. Tried going back to my Kirkland's to just get rid of them (have so many of them). Don't really like their feel anymore.

  2. Alex, I just bought the Kirkland balls, and they were $28 for 2 dozen. I’m an 8 handicap, I also have the Kirkland wedges and love them.

  3. I just tried out these brand new Srixon Q star tour. Went straight to the water. Went back to my used prov1s. Placed the the srixons back in the box. The prov1 lasted me the rest of the round

  4. I've been using the TaylorMade Tour Response since trying them last year and was impressed with how durable they are compared with both similar urethane-cover balls and the cheaper ionomer balls. They feel superb and are good all rounders in the mid market ball segment.

  5. Play the Srixon soft feel during the summer and the Bridgestone brx depends on the feel for me. Don’t have a issue with both balls when putting or chipping it helps me to follow through because they are softer, currently playing if 2.2

  6. Played the Kirkland last summer and felt too firm for my liking, aggravating my golfer's elbow.
In Australia, you pick them up for $47 for two dozen, and for the price, it can't be beat for value. Spinnier than others making it good for short game and approaches on firm greens, but found it inconsistent off the tee. Definitely spinny off the tee and windy conditions killed it. Durability was ok.
I started playing the 22 QStar Tour three rounds ago and already dropped two shots of my handicap. By far, it is the best all-round performer for me. Even snagged a win in B grade medal with it last week.

  7. Hand on a minute mate, the Q star is only a 2p ball. Look at the box when you first talk about it. Clearly says a 2 piece.

  8. I'm loving the Q star tour divide. I also play the Bridgestone e12 contact because of the neon red color. No other ball can I see as well year round . I wish it had the greenside performance of the Q star tour and it would be the perfect ball or if the Q star came in that same red color, that would be the perfect ball.

  9. I’m a high handicap and I play Kirkland balls right not and I play srixon q when I find them on sale

  10. Srixon q star tour is the best bang for buck ball for a mid handicapper

  11. Alex, what you said about the golfballs will not cause me to change the golf ball that I play because I already am using the Callaway Triple Track ERC Yellow golf ball. A few months ago, I was using the Callaway Supersoft but changed to the ERC Triple Track, and I love the way the ball sounds and feels coming off of the club face for both my irons and woods and how it perfirms on the greens. Plus, the Triple Track alignment aid serves me well both on the tee and on the green. It's great to hear that I am using a ball that you highly endorse. My current GHIN is 20.3. 🙂

  12. I like the Kirkland ball, but it's just not durable enough. I've found it gets scuffed very quickly, so whatever saving made at purchase price gets lost.

  13. If you’re a regular golfer and you spend money on golf balls than you have a serious problem. Scavenging is almost as important as putting

  14. Kirkland durability … the least attractive aspect of this golf ball. On the other hand, I get these for $1 (US) per ball. Works for me.
