Keeping It Simple || The Hip Bump Explained

*** Full Swing Master Class HERE *** https://fullswingmasterclass.porzakgolf.com/

In this video, Adam explains the hip bump works at set up. By initiating the hip bump at set up, it will prevent you from unnecessary sliding and swaying throughout the swing. It creates a post and brace in your legs which will ultimately create a more consistent turn. Adam also goes over keys to becoming a great player mentally. Mason is prepping for his conference championships and goes through his thought process leading up to the big tournament.

  1. I think u just save my back i machine gun ball all week trying to figure it ou by my self god bless youtube coach

  2. Is the hip bump ”part of the swing”, like a swing-starter? Or is part of the set up?

  3. The hip bump is amazing! My entire swing just fall in place and I have been hitting more straight shots than I usually do.. Thanks Adam!!!👍🏻

  4. Adam- when left hip bumps back and toward target (to 7pm position on a clock) what does the right hip do? That is- when done correctly are both hips still parallel to the target line or are the hips now angled open?

  5. I don’t understand the hip bump thing, is it supposed to be a feel? Because I feel like, especially now, you clearly have to shift laterally in both directions in the golf swing.

  6. I love the episodes with Mason. His swing is so compact and powerful

  7. Thanks for extra explanation about the hip bump.
If done correctly, will it feel a little closed because of the back movement at setup?
Also feels weight on left foot heel and inside right foot.
    Rgrds

  8. Simply the best coaching on you tube, my scores are actually going slightly up at the moment but my game is feeling stronger. Oh when everything comes together😂😂🎉🎉

  9. No such thing as hip bump. No such thing a going to position to position. It’s a smooth flowing swing – swing back to swing thru to finish and rely on centripetal force. Shoulders go slow.

  10. Thank you, thank you Porzac golf. After watching your videos for the past couple of weeks, I took it straight to the course (no range work) and experienced a noticeable improvement…. consistent straight ball flight, hit every fairway and had my best scoring round of the year. Looking forward to putting in the work. WR

  11. The explanation of the hip bump not being lateral but slightly rotational is a key nuance explained. Also helps start the rotational pendulum.

  12. Ironically a year ago I used to use the hip bump and I played my best golf. I’ve been playing for 2 years and only a year in I started using the hip bump went from 80s to shooting par and then being -6 through 8. I stopped using it and my game went from those amazing scores to 80s and sometimes even 90s and lost a bunch of distance lol

  13. Thanks for all the great videos. One question. When you do the hip bump, how does the weight transfer in the swing. I always feel like my weight stays on the front foot. Any help much appreciated.

  14. Would the hip bump to the left makes my trail leg straight during the back swing? What am i doing it wrong 🥲

  15. I love you videos and drills. You explain it which makes it so easy to understand. Have saved a few of the videos to help me in mistakes. Will try when l get back golfing in a few months. Unfortunately out after suffering a brain hemorrhage golfing but you videos have kept me so looking forward to getting back. Keep up the great work.
