It felt like another case of they could hear the pitch or something with Sale. You said it. It seemed like they knew what was coming.
I think Chipper was exaggerating some, but he's not wrong that he wouldn't be quite the hitter he was in today's game.
Tunneling has been something you've obviously talked about before on this channel but another key aspect is just a guy's delivery …
Chris Sale for example has such a readable & predictable release that its so much easier to pick up his pitches than other guys. Has nothing to do with "stuff" but how it's delivered …
If treinen is the witch Zach pop is the warlock with his slider/power sinker combo it’s completely disgusting
Omfg Lance with the cash till noise
Not a Braves fan, but man it is fun to watch Strider throw that disgusting slider.
Gilbert isn't starting tonight Ninja
How does Dong of the week mess up his words so much in a pre-recorded video.. brings the overall quality down.
Also who would be 3rd parlay wince Gilbert swapped
Chipper would be MVP in today’s game. Most dominant switch hitter I ever had the privilege to watch.
I don't know if the cameras are better, or the pitchers are better, but there seems to be a lot more ball movement from a lot more guys then there used to be. And a lot more guys throwing a lot harder than they used to for sure.
I looked it up. The top 30 league wide annual batting averages are all prior to 1940 and ranged from .272- .309. So far in 2023 the league wide average is .245
If you told me that Spencer Strider would almost throw a perfect game with 13 K’s on his next start: I would say: I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened
My brother in law played hs ball against Chipper in Florida. Said he hated playing against him but he was a class act 😅
It’d be cool if you did a BTS of how you make these videos
i like that whether or not the guy the mound pitched well you still highlight the positives in their outing.
I'm sorry, your whining voice and amateurish sing-song read of what is probably good material makes me bruise a finger on the pause button. Get some coaching.
Justin steele near perfect game!?
I just hope Strider doesn't go down the Lincecum road.
Chipper would have a higher average at 51 than Ozuna
Strider has struck out at least nine in nine straight starts dating to last Sept. 1. It’s the longest active streak in the majors and the longest in franchise history, one better than Hall of Famer John Smoltz. The longest streak in major league history belongs to Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan with 11.
Max Fried, Spencer Strider, Kyle Wright, just nasty
Umm. Did you see erod against the brewers?
Zac Gallen had a 12 K, no runs given start. Lance Lynn needs to tone it down until he actually puts together.
