  1. 7:15 Yes. Plenty of people had Campbell in the first round. This was actually a good pick imo. You get the best MLB in the draft, a big need for the Lions. This was a B pick for me

  2. …Van Ness is an OUTSIDE linebacker, aka edge rusher. Walker and Campbell are INSIDE linebackers. Two totally different positions. Packers are thin at edge rusher with Rashan Gary hurt, the pick made sense. And even if Van Ness does turn out to be more valuable a year or two down the road… let's be honest, barring a (very unlikely) Patrick Mahomes-esque start to Jordan Love's career, that's probably their window more than this year is. This isn't like the last few years when they had Rodgers in his twilight years, this is the time when you SHOULD be drafting for the future.

Honestly, though, this really just feels like another rendition of "the pick is wrong because it's not a pass-catcher". (And yet the Giants' draft "all works out just fine" because they got a receiver in a later round… just like the Packers did.)

  3. The Lions had one of the best drafts. Stop worrying about fcking positional value! They got the top 1 or 2 players in each of the following positions: Running Back, Linebacker, Tight End, and Safety. Not to mention Hendon Hooker, who if didn't get injured last year, would have been a top pick.

  4. Do you really need your question about Gibbs answered? Lions had Swift, who was consistently unavailable, and going into a contract year. They did not want to pay him. They take Gibbs who's not only the 1st or 2nd best RB in the draft, but easily the best versatile, pass-catching RB. He'll be a great overall offensive weapon. After Seattle took Witherspoon, the Lions wanted Gibbs. They were going to take him with the 6th pick anyway! So they traded down, still got him at 12 (other teams were supposedly trying to grab him around 15), and got more picks in compensation. Good maneuvering.

And Jack Campbell, a great pick. Best interior LB in the draft and going to anchor the Lions D for years to come. Who cares if ppl didn't have him projected in the first round. He's the guy they wanted. I love that GM Brad Holmes doesn't give a single F about what other ppl think. He does what is best for them. Even the guys who you clipped their reaction to the pick have completely changed their mind on the selection and now like it.

  5. Govt says the way they all just regret him makes it seem like nobody's for me… I know one thing ppl needs to stop being weak n evil n taking out their own n start taking out those who deserve it most ppl get angry at something somebody else did n take it out on some weaker individual unless yur ready to die n go to death row then so b it… if yu really cared which some r proven they don't by offig their own instead of defending them how backwards yud go on a suicide mission together if yu had too but they said some of yawls weak asses took the authority to give up .. VS 🆚 Team work makes tha dream work

  6. Washington's pick is a. B- at best. They definitely needed to boost their secondary and get their starting replacement for Kendall Fuller who may not be back after this upcoming season. Forbes is a ball hawk and interception machine. He holds the fbs record for most interceptions while playing in the toughest conference in cfb. The QB thing needs to stop at this point. Howell will either turn out to be the guy or he won't. At that point, we'll just be a QB away from being a playoff and Superbowl contender like the Jets last season.

  7. Tps I can't believe u rated my Dirty Birds a c- Do u not knw wit Bijan lineing up any where on da feild is gone to give defense of coordinators nightmares Dey got weapons everywhere Go check out da roster I'll give it a B💪 SOLID!!!

  8. the lions took a rb because deandre swift went to the eagles and jamal willams went to new orelans david montcomery and the rb

  9. Eagles won the draft and Eagles Jalen Carter pick is an A+ Philly will whip him right back into shape character wise and being with his Georgia teammates will only help

  10. I think giving these teams a bad grade for picking a RB in the 1st round is pretty harsh. Bijan Robinson is gonna be a absolute difference maker believe that and as for the Lions they know what they’re doing

  11. Lukas Van Ness is an edge rusher, you know, the position that Quay Walker and Devondre Campbell dont play. So why did you guys add them??? Rashan Gary has a torn acl and wont be back until midseason and Smith is old. Yall need to do better research man.

Added two players who dont play his position then think a team only needs 1.5 edge rushers

  12. as a cowboys fan I didn’t really like the puck very much but to answer your question yes, the cowboys did need a DT. the only weakness on our defense was the run and mazi should fill a hole in the middle

  13. Respectfully – as a Cowboys fan, I understand the loss of Schultz was tough and Mayer would’ve been a great addition. HOWEVER, I do believe with us being one of the lackluster teams against the run last year, we needed an additional interior piece to be able to clog up the inside holes and help us improve attacking at the L.O.S. Im not mad we took Mazi – I sure wouldn’t give it a C either.

  14. Glad the Titans have a black as a GM. Now the white guilt people can SHUT up about diversity. How about being qualified over skin color?

  15. Who won the draft? That's a very difficult question? I mean I know the purpose of the draft is to help upgrade every team but it really did upgrade every team this year. Only the Detroit Lions and the Dallas boys are the only teams. I think that didn't really get upgraded because of the draft.

  16. Now i'm not saying the steelers had the best draft in 2023, But it was definitely a good one and an addressed the team's specific needs. 14. OT Broderick Jones (Georgia)232. CB Joey Porter Jr. (Penn State)249. IDL Keeanu Benton (Wisconsin)393. TE Darnell Washington (Georgia).

  17. Lions hate is crazy 😂 I get that “positional value” wise it wasn’t great but brad Holmes has always drafted well for us. Can’t wait to prove this hater wrong.

  18. Christian Gonz fell so far down it’s crazy, bears, falcons, lions, raiders… even the jets all took players that are far inferior to Gonz

  19. Respectfully this guy has no idea what he’s talking about, just random or loosely based opinions, not actually saying anything about teams needs and is just coming up with holes in a teams roster

  20. Dallas’s D line has a giant whole in the middle and only one rusher is getting to the quarterback consistently.

  21. As an Eagles i am hyped. A long awaited DYNASTY is about to come to the City of Brotherly Love!!!! Get ready Broad Street.
