To be fair to the guy in red, I think he was saying "what is the purpose of Everton?" as in "what is their driving purpose?" rather than "what is the purpose of them existing?" It did not come across well, but I do think he meant that.

Just wanna say I'm really happy that the kick off and Brian have managed to completely revamp themselves. When the other boys left to make the club, it felt like it was over for the kick off, or at least it did to me, but the club have failed to grab attention as much cause they're too clickbaity and their opinions are for the most part honestly really bad. Brian knows how to steer the ship and the guests he's bringing on are pretty good and sensible. Love to see hard work pay off, love you boys ❤️❤️

Some of these dont have a clue. The bloke in red would have a fair point about us currently (last 2 seasons) if he wasnt being so short sighted and unknowledgeable about the past 7, 15, 35, 135 years of footballing history in relation to EFC and our standing in the English game and notably the top flight.
For a start, under Moyes we finished 4th, 5th x 2, 6th x 2 and had only 2 finishes below the top 8 in his 11 seasons. We played in Europe and got to an FA Cup Final in 09. Other than Leicester, who in that time or since outside the Sky 6 has outdone that?
The club have also tried to compete in the last 7 years (but sadly failed through terrible decision making, but not through lack of trying). Currently building one of the best stadiums in the country, spending money and having Ancelotti as manager. Only 2 years ago today we were around the top 4-6 with a month to go before imploding and finishing 10th.
That man and a few others need to be taught a footballing lesson. Clueless.
Everton have the whingiest fanbase in the league…there isn't a single manager they have got behind fully since Moyes but to say they don't matter is stupid. They have a genuine traditional institution with history of being Englands top team and being in top flight since it began speaks for itself.
