Hurling getting swamped by football? I'm a Dubs fan and even we know hurling is by far the superior sport. Love my football, but seriously.

Agree with Ger though. They've totally ruined the hurling championship by having the final so early. People are so desperate to watch hurling they're traveling the country to watch glorified challenge matches called the national League.
The TV coverage of the hurling on TV is shocking
Championship is a least two weeks too early, too cold
Don't agree The hurling provincials are as important as ever whereas the football equivalents are essentially stand alone competitions that have little to with deciding the all ireland

Not showing Limerick and Clare on RTÉ is a disgrace .Also playing the under 20 all Ireland at the same time as the senior is a joke, So a Limerick supporter has to pay for the under 20 game tonight and the senior game tomorrow.
the negativity in this analysis of these hurlers is crazy, you'd know its journalists talking!!
Hurling championship Suggestion:
Have 8 division league 1-4.
No semi finals, bottom team relegated.
After the league run the provincial championship knock out/ old school.
Provincial finalists and semi finalists qualify for two groups of 4.
Top 2 from each group qualify for AI semifinals
It takes minimum of 12 weeks to run club championship in Cork push it back any further n finals will be in a bog
