Then you got the qbs that went in drafted like I know the Steelers grabbed and they have three more spots to fill so they might even get one more bc they been going into training camp
Of all 32 teams, the Rams had the "most empty" depth chart…they did phenomenal…turned 6 picks into 12…identified really high talent for drafted, un-drafted and free agency yet to come. And I'll bet they will make some more aggressive moves when teams have to slim down prior to the opener. I really enjoy watching McVeigh and Sneed as underdogs….building something out of nothing….Dabol and Pederson did it last year.

Sean Clifford is a good backup for Jordan Love in Green Bay, similar to Taylor Heinicke in a way
Bennet won 2 NCs, made the plays that beat UA and OSU in the biggest games, and is the least entitled athlete in the draft. He will work and earn his way. I hope he has a great career. The guy made it happen and beat all the naysayers, including most of the mutt fans.
Bennett is going to be a WHOLE lot more than a backup. McVay knew what he was doing when he grabbed that guy. He was drafted in the 4th because McVay WANTED him. He's smart, accurate, tough, quick and plays sort of like Drew Brees. McVay like's maturity, toughness, guys with a chip on their shoulder and a pattern of strong work ethic and desire to play, get better and study. Sean drafted Bennett to take over when Matt is ready to go, it's that simple and if you don't know that, you might not be very good at your job.
I think Stetson Bennett is a bit underrated.
Stetson Bennett is 5’11’’ 190 lbs. he is almost as small as Bryce Young. He will be the lightest QB that I’ve seen since Doug Floutie. I’m bigger than Bennett is for Christ sake. He is far too small to play in the NFL. And yea he won 2 national championships and he was 2nd Team All SEC in 2021. That’s it. That’s the extent of his awards. He has never even thrown 30 tds. The Rams just wasted a pick and they can’t afford to waste anything. They will still be a big joke next year and then Aron Donald will demand a trade and then they will hit rock bottom. Stafford is a very old 35. And Bennett is 25 years old and was playing college ball with NFL players blocking for him handing the ball off to NFL RBs and throwing the ball to NFL receivers. The Rams offensive line even without the injury’s from last year is sub standard. I just don’t see it working. They should have waited till round 7 to select Bennett. I’m quite sure he would have been there. I was surprised he was even drafted. He is TINY!

Yea I’m with you on Brock Purdy Chris. He was drafted by an All Star team had the best left tackle in football and an offensive genius for a coach. But it usually takes teams 6-7 weeks to figure a guy out. Once d coordinators have 6-8 weeks of film on you then they figure you out. Purdy played in what 7 or 8 games? It was a nice run but I think Brock Purdy this year will revert back to being completely irrelevant once again.
Stetson may make Les Snead look like a genius one day if he doesn't get injured and sticks around with the Rams. The way they explained about his talents in detail convinced me that he is an exceptional QB receiving too much hate that drove his ratings down. You can teach skills but you can't teach leadership. We will see.

I love Stetson‘s game. It’s crazy how the most humble hard workers get no love but the cocky overrated qb can go #1 and nobody’s upset. Make it make sense please.
