Way to beat down Calvin and Eagle’s final round scores but fail to put into perspective why! Playing conditions on the final day we’re drastically different from the previous rounds.
On the Jomez coverage when Kat is walking up to tap in the putt you can already see her beginning to cry. That alone got my tears started.
The video is over edited, were you trying to cram 60 minutes of disc golf into 9 mins, it was painful to listen to
That was what I would call a primal scream. Letting go of all the negative, and finally being on top or her chosen career. Good luck Kat.
This woman has truly come out of nowhere the last couple years. Unless you're really intimate with all of the FPO field, you probably didn't even know about her in 2020. Good for her. The physical talent is there, it's just a matter of her stringing rounds together!! Way to go KM!!! Johnny disc golf by the way, is probably one of the most seasoned videographers next to Terry. And he got the hell out of there.
I'm a little surprised with the audio quality in this video. Seems like your had your hands full with the editing?. It sounded very choppy and rushed! I think you would have better off recording the audio again and just use this as a script.
You have great content and make engaging videos, so it's not the content. A minor adjustment's in the audio edit most of all will improve the presentation a lot.
Please, the critique is given with the best of intentions, so I really hope it is taken as such. 🙂
On the FPO winner: my waterworks started when I saw her stepping up to that last put! She was in tears already… A true champion, in life as well as in this great sport <3
Let’s be honest. Kristen is amazing and deserves every victory she earns. However, I’m likely to tune out and watch something different If it’s a blowout. This last round was more intense and kept me hooked.
Overall, my main love for disc golf is that I enjoy 95% of the pros and don’t mind who wins. Just want a good match.
Everyone is always talking about being reserved and acting like a professional, but in Kat’s case, she deserved to let out some emotion. Keep grinding!
The editing on this video made it hard to listen to. Appreciate the intent but the words were editing over one another.
I watched all the FPO coverage and Kat's story and performance was so great! She actually had this old bear in tears at the end I was so happy for her!

Disc golf needs this. Congrats Kat. Emotion is a good thing. So happy for her. Also Vinny congrats. Eagle, come on man. That’s way too risky a shot in that wind with the win in the balance. Wild runs, thanks for spotlighting Kat.
The idea that cameramen and spotters should be blamed for getting hit by discs is absolutely ludicrous. It's obvious that the only practical approach to cameramen in the field of play is that they are considered part of the course and it is on the players not to hit them. The fact that cameramen are able to get the shots they do is one of the main reasons that professional disc golf has grown so much. I know many people, myself included, that have really gotten into watching pro dg because the footage is so up close and personal.
Wow great video here. Gratz to Kat on the dub. Really happy to see this type of emotion and realness from her. Wish other disc golfers "kept it real" instead of being so uptight. I like to think disc golf is a more casual sport than golf and glad to see moments like this.
So happy to see you achive a goal that many may never achieve, when preparation meets opportunity you must be there in the moment, and it was beautiful. I don't know Kat but I teared up watching how much this win meant to her, the proof of what she already knew. Rock on kat!
It’s a great story and win for kat. Happy for her. No need to oversell it. “Greatest event I’ve ever seen”? The play was not very good due to the tough conditions. Nice to see a 1st win on the big tour.
