It’s a yearly tradition to visit the Steelers draft party every year but unfortunately someone thought it was a great idea to schedule a concert at the stadium on draft weekend, so instead they had it at stage AE. It wasn’t nearly as good. There just wasn’t enough to do there. It had its moments though. They were doing Cam Hayward’s Not Just Football podcast on the stage all night with some good guests. Pat Freiermuth, Kenny Pickett, Broderick Jones, Merrill Hoge and Vince Williams all made appearances. It was cool to see the introduction of our first round pick, Broderick Jones. Also generally the draft is on day 3 of the draft so that this was day 2 and the Steelers had the top pick made for a cool moment. Beyond that though, it just wasn’t the same or as good.
