Lajovic's one-hand backhand is as competitive as Wawrinka's. It does not lose out in any way to the double-hand backhand. In fact, it looks like a dangerous shot the way he sets it up.

The most promising we've seen Thiem in a very long time.
Thiem has been plagued in this match bybthe very things he always had a problem with: shot selection. Physically he's back up there to his peak level. He needs to polish his game plan and execution.
Shame I have to say it, but glad that Felix AA is out so I don't have to listen to that ridiculous grunting any more – his is one of the worst. Lajovic managed to play tennis without the animal noises, just like everyone used to do before grunting became a fashion trend. It's not necessary, it's a learned behaviour, so for your own sake, players, just stop doing it. It's embarrassing.

Why during the invasion of Iraq, 20 year bombing of Afghanistan not to mention the genocidal Vietnam war US, Australian, UK… athletes were allowed to compete under their national flag?
USA invaded Iraq in 2003 and yet their flag was still allowed at the World Cup 2006 in Germany and 2010 in South Africa despite the fact they were still in Iraq. Either ban ALL flags of countries who go to war, or don't ban any of them.
