An incredible 2023 has seen Jon Rahm win four times, including claiming the coveted green jacket at Augusta National Golf Club. This week, the Spaniard will return to the Mexico Open at Vidanta to defend his 2022 title. Last year, the World No. 1 finished one shot clear of five-time TOUR event winner Tony Finau, 2020 Korn Ferry Tour Championship winner Brandon Wu, and Kurt Kitayama, who recently claimed his first TOUR win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard in March. The Mexico Open was Rahm’s only TOUR victory in 2022, but a win this week would see his PGA TOUR win tally rise to twelve. Nico Echavarria will be leading the charge for Latin American players in Mexico. The Colombian, who currently sits inside the top 70 in the FedExCup Standings, recently won the Puerto Rico Open finishing an impressive 21-under-par, two shots clear of the field.

  1. Tony defies everything taught in Golf. Just look at how high his putter toe is up when putting. Look at his set up and swing. Just goes to show you, you don't have to have a prefect form/swing to be good.

  2. Two great golfers – two great friends. This is what first class sportsmanship is all about.

  3. Akshay Bhatia and Eric Cole both have a runner up and top 5 finish on tour this year. Rising stars

  4. Hoping Tony can get a Major under his belt. He made some big putts this week !

  5. I'm glad that Rahm pushed Tony all weekend, it will make him a better player that he was able to hold him off.

  6. Well done Tony! One of the handful good guys on. PGA tour. Typical for US sports the family with their kid is presented and all cry out about the "family man" and "good guy" of course (he surely really) is. Also Tiger at his last masters win! And short time later you see how the reality is, the wife of is throwing away like a peace of waste…. Smiling in cameras and kicking the as if nobody watching you, us marketing world is a big lie. Sorry for my words

  7. So happy for Tony. Now he needs to go get a Major. Rahm keeps proving he's a beast this year too.

  8. I’ve been watching a show on golfers and saw the piece on Tony Finau. I love that he’s a family man and clearly his family means everything to him ❤. Congratulations Tony! You deserved it!

  9. Tony is amazing, keep grinding man.. wishing you all the good fortune you deserve. You are a class act and an amazing example. God bless ❤

  10. Finau has a pretty strange putting stroke, not just I've seen others putting that way

  11. Tony is awesome! I met him at farmers open at torrey pines and he was so nice and took picures and signed for every single fan!

  12. Watching these guys putt is soooooooo boring. Unless its an up and down right to left then right again putt, its boring !

  13. We know Tony is a very good golfer but who is this new guy named Akshay Bhatia? He played great. He drove the ball well and putted like a champ. I'll keep my eyes on him.
