EQUIPMENT

What’s in the bag for Handicap golfer.

Take a look inside a high handicap golfers bag to see what equipment I’m using:

My Driver is a Ping G400 with 9° of loft

My Iron’s are Ping I525 Forged 5-PW Blue dot which is 1° upright
Shafts are Project X lo 6.0 110g (stiff shaft) with golf pride Plus 4 midsize grips

My wedges are Ping Glide 4.0 52°and 58° Standard soul (same spec as above)

My putter is a Ping craz-e-r Cadence TR with a super stroke grip

My golf bag is a Ping hoofer-light carrier bag

My golf glove is a Under Armour

I do use Bridgestone golf balls, if I’m honest I do not have a preference and the last time I broke 100 was with a tailor-made golf ball that I’d found.

  1. – Forged, some kind of coating they put on… You are the bestest m8.
Dont spend more £ on replacing clubs, you really have great geat in your bag now. Love from Sweden

  2. You didn't say which flex your driver was. If you are not using the correct club for the shot you will either be trying to hit the ball too hard, or hitting the ball too soft to make up for having too much club in your hand. I played cannock park on saturday (yesterday). First game of the season. I managed five pars on the last seven holes I played before me and my playing partner got soaked on the thirteenth, and called it a day. If you want a good ball that you can stop fairly quickly without spending a lot of money, the srixon distance is a fantastic ball. If you want a ball that goes a long way, get some wilson ultras. I've use lots of different balls including expensive ones, and those two are as good as anything else I've used. Good luck.
