  1. Excellent suggestion and demonstration Alistair on the two simple moves for an effortless swing. I have recently started concentrating on a left shoulder takeaway and it has been working. My problem is Point #2 about the lower half leading the downswing. There is where my inconsistency comes from. I have to make it more of a "rote" situation to be successful at what I'm doing! As always Alistair, a job well done!

  2. Great instruction Alistair, thank you. I see that the left hip moves up and back as you strike the ball. I realise there are many parts to the downswing sequence but are you able to clarify what happens when I move laterally to transfer weight (80%). Do I consciously move my left hip back or should it be the natural momentum of the swing and the hand path left that gets me there?
Apologies if you have covered this before. If so, could you highlight the previous video and I'll watch it too.
    Cheers

  3. Thanks for the video. When i ‘shift big’ i come in too steep and take massive divots – how can i shift big and take shallower divots ?
