Can’t wait to try this one out. I can see how this would translate well to my irons and woods. I already putt in this manner with better success than looking down at the ball. So this makes a ton of sense.
I've been inadvertently doing this for years and could never "fix" it and gave up trying. Once my lead shoulder would touch my chin in the backswing they would "fuse" together. As the shoulders turned on the downswing and released the head would just follow.
Now I'm working on shortening my backswing for accuracy.
Was always told not to trust side vision, wouldn't this tilting head on downswing put you into position for using side vision..
Edit: I'm hoping that question made sense because after reading it. I've confused myself lol
Double edit . Nevermind I should of watched it all before asking. We still use the intermediate point.
Maybe look at the intermediate point (for a spilt second) on the down swing, then the target, to stay in alignment.
