  2. Practice swings from think box…if you are concerned about a shot from the rough being affected affecting by the lie, how do you practice that swing?

  4. Started the season hitting the driver well but struggling with everything inside 140 yards. Went back through the way of the playa and went from an average of 5/6 🤢 shots inside 14 to averaging 3/4 shots – thanks Baus!

    Time to put the decision line into the routine in tomorrows medal and see how we go.

  5. Just this title fits me perfectly lmao. Example: from april to july 2022, i shot mid to high 70s. From july to September i shot low 80s. October, i played 3 times and shot 78 each time… since then, i havent broken 90.. so frustrating. Im a huge head case.

  6. I like a couple of mental gymnastics. I don't lay up I lay back. It reminds me that the last thing on the planet I want to do is reach the thing I'm trying to avoid.
    The second thing is a positive thought on what I want to do. If your thought is don't go in the water on the right, don't go in the trees on the left. Where amongst that is the instructions to your body on where the hell you really want to go? If your thoughts on the tee is don't don't don't then you will will will.

  7. Since you introduced Think Box/Decision Line/Play Box in that previous video my scores have dropped! It's amazing how much mechanics & swing thoughts used to enter my mind before & now I have a clear mind of just target->execution as I swing. Another great tip Head Playa!!

  8. Superb! I scrolled past the thumbnail but somehow your title grabbed me – I read it twice and watched…really good advice. So many golfers don’t even need to get better at the actual hitting the ball bit…the thinking box is a great example of how to improve your game significantly via process alone…!

  9. Love it! Now if I can just reduce all the rampant thoughts I have at address especially. I like your pre-shot routine Matt. I want to implement a shorter process but still am a bit obsessive. This season I will work on reducing all that. Cheers!
