If you guys are complaining about too much math in sports statistics you shouldn't be calling people stupid for not knowing how handicaps work.
Rappaport is a great reporter and brings out great takes from everyone else too. Completely agree that LIV should fill that “F1 style” role and go to major cultural hubs around the world. THAT would actually make them rival PGA tour from a relevance standpoint.

Argument for LIV in Australia would seem OK based on the last event.
However, consider that they've been starved for pro / exhibition golf and makes you question if more events there would become stale?
Seems like the rarity gives it more interest, similar to how the Masters is only once a year.

Australian golf has not had the money to afford to pay the best golfers in the world. Norman set the standard in the 90's by charging over $250,000 to come home and play a tournament. Greed over promoting the game

LIV had to turn a profit in Adelaide? I doubt they are hemorrhaging money for that event, all expenses included. Next year will be even larger. Their State PM is fully on board and even at the press conferences answering questions…unlike Monahan. lol

This is the problem with the Iowa play. If football and soccer, you can pop the ball above everyone's head. In hockey, you can do that as well, but it's not easy when the defense is standing over you – the defense can just stay at the blue line and prevent anyone from popping the puck up. And if it gets blocked then you have one schmo who's in the offensive end and can't get back on defense. Also, in hockey you're never not moving – so it's not like you're going to be flat-footed. The defense is already skating backwards.

The stats discussion in NBA is even more bizarre, now with this play in tournament they have for 6th to 10th place, those stats don't count for regular season or post season stats, the literally just get thrown away, completely agree Frankie, that your career total should encompass everything you achieved
Riggs lived thru the Habs with Kenny Dryden my bruins had a great team I think they had record for having 11 20 goal scores and Kenny was the best I have seen since 1967 when I was 10 and started watching sports

Breaking 90 only
I love the Leafs literally just as much as Frankie loves the Islanders and I do not own a single leafs jersey. So I don’t rlly agree with Frankie’s point rhat the wearing a Jersey specifically as all part of being a fan, it’s just some ppl like to and other don’t. I kinda thinks it’s silly to wear a jersey but that’s just me.
So I mainly came to this channel for the Trent Breaking 90 series. Did they just completely stop that? I feel like that got the most views and was an awesome series.
Can’t agree with you with the playoff stats, Frankie. Think about Mike Trout in baseball. We all know he’s been the best player in baseball the last 10 years, hasn’t played in the playoffs. Reputation can come from playoffs, but you can’t do stats.
