The Mizuno Speed Tuned project has led to the Mizuno ST 230 metals, including the Mizuno ST-Z 230 hybrid. The Mizuno ST-Z 230 hybrid features the all new CORTECH Chamber that helps deliver more energy at impact, resulting in higher ball speeds and more forgiveness.

In this episode of The Swing Report, 2nd Swing’s Drew Mahowald and Taylor Ledwein test and review the new Mizuno ST-Z 230 hybrid.

  1. Should the shaft flex match your irons or Driver?
I have stiff in my irons but reg shaft driver. So I don’t know which to use.

  2. great video guys.. curious how these would compare to the newer jpx fly-hi hybrid clubs? i belive they go all the way up to 36°.

  3. For some reason I can't hit this thing, I own the TSR2 and '23 King Tec and love them both.

Could be the shaft because it's a blue. not a black or white like I normally play.

  4. You need to go to The Colony and do a few episodes with Jeb Stuart reviewing some clubs at that store. That guy has been able to make a golf ball sing with his ballstriking for 40+ years!
