  1. Yes, you're right, you were DEFINATELY stronger in the midfield than villa were…😅 👏

  2. I was a bit surprised how dismissive if Villa you guys were in the build up to the game. Smirking about Mings, Watkins etc. I dont know, maybe your players committed the same mistake?

  3. What was you saying About Watkins before? Arrogance and ignorance came back to bite you 😊

  4. Hope I'm wrong but I think we bought a stinker in Gordon ..!! Offered absolutely nothing today ..!! Saying that neither did anyone else.!!! Bad day at the office

  5. I'm actually shocked at how awful we were today, to see Bruno and Joelinton get overpowered to that degree in midfield was embarrassing. Credit to Villa, they were excellent from minute one to 90, but we were so off it today it was incredible. Need to bounce back next week against Spurs.

  6. Also we loose when Almiron comes in ,does not cross and always comeback to his left,Myrphy gies at defenders and create chances

  7. If we lose at home to Spurs (I don’t believe we will) that is even more worrying signs, I know they are dangerous on the counter attack ALWAYS and we have to tighten up the defence but they are not a good team.

  8. Gordon is Toxic, he seems to feel like a superstar, so far he has looked bad for the reason that he is not shown in his favorite position, namely left wingers, that's why he only wants to go down and look good as a left winger. As a result of this, Newcastle United's lineup was devastated, see Newcastle United's lineup against Aston Villa:
    -Gordon(wrong ) + Isak + Murphy(wrong)
    -Joelinton (wrong ) + Bruno + Willock (wrong ),
Just look at the 4 wrong lineups, from the lineups only Isak was able to score goals, the others were difficult. Ideal lineups sure to win are:
    -Willock + Isak + Wilson
    -Joelinton + Bruno + Murphy
With their respective favorite positions, these 6 players have the ability to score goals, because they have been tested and proven that this position brought Newcastle United to the top 3. The problem is that this time coach Eddie Howe sent down ridiculous lineups, for the sake of golden boy Gordon, all the old players were sacrificed, really big silly😈😬 they went 3 points, Out you are Coach Eddie Howe, the position of the big 4 is under threat because of Gordon's actions, he is not Messi, he is still below the level of all the attackers and midfielders of Newcastle United, so don't act like you are a star😬😡

  9. Just by looking at the lineups, it's already wrong and you're sure you've lost badly, take a look at these lineups:
    >Gordon (wrong) x Isak x Murphy(wrong)
    >Joelinton (wrong)x Bruno x Willock(wrong)
    >Burn x Botman x Schar x Trippier >Pope

    1) Gordon is a new player, why is he installed as a lineup/left winger, this match is not for a trial run, but a determination to enter the top 4 or Champions League, so Gordon's entry to fulfill because he is England is a big mistake, he does not deserve to be a starter, even if he is playing later, if you are already 4-0 up, as a substitute in the 70th minute.
    2) Murphy also doesn't deserve to be a starter/right winger, if there's Wilson and Almiron, he should be a right midfielder.
    3) Joelinton is unlikely to get along with Gordon and give the ball to Gordon, as long as Gordon is being cocky and has no respect for his seniors.
    4) Willock is a left winger or left midfielder, how could he suddenly be ordered to the right midfielder position just for the sake of Gordon's existence at this club, of course Willock has difficulty controlling the ball, because he is used to playing on the left. In conclusion, this team was damaged because Coach Eddie Howe forced Gordon to enter as a starter in his favorite position / left winger, without seeing Aston Villa are now coached by Unai Emery.

Coach Eddie Howe this time made a big blunder just because for the sake of Gordon's entry so that it would appear that Newcastle United had a more England flavor, but made him not work professionally, even though Newcastle United was a professional club, not part of the England National Team.
Now we have Anderson and Gordon, Next summer, please recruit James Maddison and Declan Rice to make them look more England and don't blame the results if you enter the degradation zone. If this goes on After a while, many Non-England players left, like Isak, Bruno, Maximin, Almiron, and at the same time sold Newcastle United to Amanda Steveley and the old owner/Mike Ashley , that's all right…

  10. Arrogance of your lot in the build up merited a slapping yesterday. A bit of credit to the opposition goes a long way 👋🏼

  11. Villa fan here. Really good and fair commentary here. Credit to you

  12. The naysayers are looking at this the wrong way. We've been on a good run recently, and this was always going to be a tough one. Plus, every team occasionally has a bad day at the office. Fortunately Eddie's old team came to the rescue, so no real damage has been done. The other factor is that Emery is a very experienced and successful manager, and is doing an amazing job at Villa. However, people have short memories. Emery started like this at Arsenal, but within 18 months he was sacked. Whereas Eddie performed miracles at Bournemouth for 10 years, and eventually resigned against the wishes of the board and most of the fans in order to hone his craft. Regardless of what happens for the rest of the season, having Eddie in charge is without doubt our best long-term plan

  13. Hats of to Villa. They were the better team and won deserved!
Villa is an excellent team on a good run.

We just need to learn from this and brush this off and come back better in next game.
Still got alot to play for.

But i wish Howe would just give Targett chances from start.
I find it absurd that Howe decide to give Burn chances again and again on LB.
He is not even a LB and is very average there.
How much is this weakness going to get exposed before he does something about it?

Quick players is a nightmare for us. Burn and Trippier are to slow..
This is a huge weakness and problem for us.

  14. Great commentary mate. Bit disparaging towards us in the build up which makes it all the sweeter. Fair play though, you were honest enough to big us up. You've been great this season and deserve to be where you are. Fantastic to see teams troubling the Sky "big six", long may it continue

  15. Now that you've learnt a bit of humility from your visit to Villa Park maybe you'll remember that respecting the opponent is a quality required to be truly classed as a "big club". Some of the comments in your preview about Watkins, Mings and Villa in general were an absolute joke. If you go and check out any of the Villa forum previews for this game and you will not find any of the same rhetoric and lack of respect that you've been preaching. NUFC were outcoached, outplayed and outclassed on Saturday by a team that you stated were lucky to be there and didn't provide any real challenge – how did that work out for you? I love the passion that the toon have for their club but don't get above your station before you've even won anything. Stay humble and make sure you get that Champions League slot because we are gonna be right behind you. UTV
