I’m not too worried even if Arthur has to be our #1 slot. I like his ball hawking and he’s a sound tackler.
Well I'm not sure if we're gonna add anybody else in free agency with the draft in three weeks .They may wait to add someone if they don't in the draft .
I think it's corner or tackle in first two rounds and then dl or lb then a wr late and maybe a QB to have for training camp

I think this is Khan’s thought process “let me fill all the holes before the draft so we can just draft the best player available” that’s what I feel the Steelers are doing with this draft. Best player on the board is getting drafted.

You still need a true DT/NT and also the lb squad is not together those guys are both run stopping lbs and roberts is basically a 2 down backer. so we need a coverage lb. We're just a little better than last year. I think we're far from done if we actually want to compete
They also need a 3rd qb since Rudolph is still testing his market. For the rest of free agency I would focus on locking up dupree getting a true NT better than adams. And maybe a slot corner.. then in the draft I would focus OT, OCB and a versatile LB and WR.. I also do believe in Tre Norwood taking over the slot i know he had a down year but his first year was impressive but we'll see
You're right about Arthur maulet he's good against the run but coverage he's a liability so they can't rely on him in the slot. Especially with no coverage linebacker underneath right now we done more replacing then actually adding we just mainly replaced guys but the oline should be better interior wise

If they would pick up Dupree, I'd say right it wud be right before the draft. If we get to the draft, they'll take an edge in the draft, maybe a 3rd or 4th like Deke says. Bud either failed his physical or wants too much cash.

Everyone is talking about OT, CB, Safety, and Mack LB. I think we're drafting edge/OLB with our first pick. And if not that, then the 32nd overall. We say what happened when TJ went out last year. And after Highsmith, there's really nothing. Let me start by saying I'm not a Pitt fan. I live in Kentucky and have rooted for the UK in college because I went there. But id take Kancey at 17, make him lose 15lbs, and play him at the edge. Before someone slams me with the fact that he's a DT, I'll say this. His forty time was better than TJ or Alex and they drop into coverage all the time. He has the best hands I've seen on a DT in the past five years. He ran the fastest time a DT has ever ran at the combine. If he weighs 265, he could be an elite pass rusher in this league for years. He's already used to going against offensive tackles as that was what he did in college. It would be a perfect fit.

We could trade back from 17 and pick up a few extra picks. Still get a quality Corner or Left Tackle. Free Agency? We could add another DT. Alualu is a question mark this year. Loudermilk could step up.
