Ferrari will never be the same

Michael Schumacher, Jean Todt and Ross Brawn, not only changed Scuderia Ferrari forever, but they changed the sport of Formula 1. After Jean Todt joined a struggling Ferrari in the 90’s, he was soon joined by Michael Schumacher who had already won back to back championships with Benetton. They were soon joined by Ross Brawn and went on to transform the team, and turn Ferrari into the most dominant force F1 had ever seen at the time. With 5 straight championships, the dream team had an enormous amount of power within the team. And maybe, a bit too much for Ferrari’s liking. Enjoy!

  1. Mate you were not kidding when you said you put more effort into this than any other vid; it's definitely your best so far! Loved it!

  2. I always thought and said that Ferrari has SO MANY fans because of the 00s domination. I remember it all too well, never being a Ferrari fan myself. Although I was bored at the time, it still remains a good memory for me simply witnessing a part of history 🙂

  3. Your best video yet mate, great topic, sound, editing, great pace and tone with your voice, you do well to not be monotone and convey importance or emotion. Not many narrators can do it well.
Well done, you've got it dialled in.

  4. This is why anyone who thinks mercedes just because they won 8 constructors championships in a row is guaranteed to get back to the top is crazy nothing is guaranteed

  5. It all went downhill after they started favouring Massa over Kimi for Santander money in the year 2008. They changed Kimi’s (the guy who was leading the championship) suspension midway through the season and the rest is history.

  6. What is needed is not the same trio.

What is needed is the same mentality. Not one driven by corporate at FIAT in Turin, but one of indipendence within the team, where engineers and technicians can work without the meddling of incompetent suits driven only by monetary revenue. (because, le'ts face it, Ferrari is a money making machine even when it lose).

  7. Rory Byrne and Paolo Martinelli- the often forgotten KEY members of the Ferrari Dream Team of the early 2000s.

  8. As a big Ferrari fan I want to say: not enough credits to the brilliant people in the factory. Feels bad to every time hear Italians cannot win in F1, because this is not true. Technically they are the best of the best. MotoGP is ruled by Italians and in Mercedes and other winning F1 teams Italian engineers have done alot. (Yes even on Honda and Yamaha). For this reason I wanna say give some credit to the people in the factory in Ferrari. Also because of them we achieved those records. They are amazing brilliant engineers who need a good leader right now and a winning mentality!!!

  9. No one is above Ferrari.
But if not for Schumacher, Ferrari who? They would've dropped out of relevance just like that. The only reason I knew F1, or Ferrari, like at all, was because of Schumacher, and before I started watching F1 in 2019, winner, still meant Schumacher.

  10. Nice video dude. It was a special
    Time. Perfect chemistry. Much like
    Clarkson, hammond and may.
    Happens once in a generation.
    Brawn, Todt, Stepney, and micheal.
At Ferrari ! They rinsed it, with marlboro
Throwing money at them. What a time.
    Nice job. 👍

  11. I cannot believe it that the Ferrari Hypercar program for Lemans is doing well.

Debut they get pole and a podium at sebring and 2nd at portimao.

Af Corse is doing a better job than Scuderia Ferrari. What is going on how come Af Corse is successful while the Scuderia Ferrari are just incompetent and useless?

  12. Ferrari are so mid if you think about how little they achieved in so many years that they have been in the sport

  13. no one will ever be as great as Schumacher. The red car and Schumacher are always recognizable everywhere. It was a pleasure to watch him drive and it was the golden age of F1 for me.

  14. So basically Ferrari made key personnel acquisitions & it resulted in success, basically what RB & AM are doing right now

  15. He went from being a 2 time champ to a team that hadn't won jack for 21 years and went on to create history. That's why Michael will always be at the top of the list for me.

  16. I am a fan and probably doesn't count as much. But Max, Cristian and Adrian are a good bet for present times

  17. when it comes to Formula One, there are only two Names that define this Sport ….. Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher , both of them are on the same Level, way high above all other

  18. The one thing I miss the most about Ferrari from that era is those pit stops. Those days Ferrari were the absolute masters of pit stops. They would always pull something out of the bag.

  19. I'd say Ferrari have never been the best, and these championships were blip. Lewis and Toto at Merc have a similar bond to this, but it was easier for Toto because he is his own boss. The fact even to this day Ferrari still had to answer to a CEO, to a board room doesn't help. Then there the pressure for Italy itself

  20. The similarities are clear in the Hamilton/Wolff duo and the Verstappen/Horner/Newey trio. The level of utter dominance and cut throat winning culture is present in all three of these cases.

  21. Thank you for answering my question! I think sometimes the individualistic mentality in the US goes to an extreme that just isn’t helpful (before anyone comes for me, I actively chose to become a U.S. citizen so clearly I respect the core values of the country enough to pledge allegiance) but I do wish there was a little more sense of collective.

  22. Greatest Era:
    Michael Jordan in NBA
    Michael Schumacher in F1
    And
    Valentino Rossi in MotoGp

These people just transcended their sport….
