Southern California has way better Mexican food. I've lived in CA most of my life, and live in AZ for about a decade. AZ just doesn't have good meat. And yes, I live near Phoenix and have tried many hole-in-the-wall places.
Some places in AZ got the sonoran tortillas but overall CA got it forsureee
