    He's an honest man who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to try his darnedest to achieve it – some people can't handle characters like him and he's very much okay with that.

    Brilliant. Alonso at his very best. He is super intelligent, ultra focussed on being at his very best in everything that he does. Unfortunately, that is why most Brits hate him because we do not like people like him, Senna, Schumacher, Rosberg, etc.

    Fernando has been racing in F1 when most of the other guys on the grid weren't even old enough to drive….I think he knows his way around the sport…bad guy or not….i will root for him.

    As a new Alonso fan (ever since he re entered the sport with alpine) THEY DID NOT CELEBRATE him being there, quite the opposite, they have not done far enough marketing or promotion for him, and it was quite clear they are not interested in him due to age..

    Nando once said: "Whoever signs me on, gets the best version of Fernando Alonso"
    Looking at the races he has done so far with both teams, he is a mastermind and superb driver.. can't wait to see more podiums..

    I love him. He is very smart, very competitive. He definitely took a few bad decisions in his career but this move seems like it was the right one. I would absolutely love to see him win his 3rd champ in 2024. How epic would that be!!!

    Max and Alonso the best 2 these days. Well the best 2 from last years. They are so alike in racing and also not.
    Alonso is the one that compares the most to Max. The same but also different.
