It’s Zurich Classic week in New Orleans this week. It’s a different format and scoring compared to a typical PGA event, so let me explain. First of all, it’s a team event. Each team is paired up and they compete against other teams.
Days 1 and 3 are an alternate shot or a four-ball format which means 2 players play with one ball and they take turns and record only one score.
Days 2 and 4 are a four-ball format, which means, each player plays their own ball but they only count one score for each hole, whoever scored the lowest.
