  1. A bit of Chinese culture. We always list/call the family first, then the first name and second name. For example, Ma <family> Long <first name, he doesn't have second name> and Fan <family> Zheng <1st> Dong <2nd> (his name should be in 3 words, still don't know why they always link 1st & 2nd names together) but in Dang Qiu's case, he swapped the names around, possibly after he naturalized. We still regard him as Qiu Dang (he has no second name as well). Actually all Chinese players' names are implemented the same way. After all, Qiu Dang still got some fans support in China.

  2. Looks like LP can't adjust his foootwork against DQ's RPB. He's used to playing against mid-far table opponents in long rallies while Dang's RPB drives are shorter, spiny and low, making him uncomfortable, provoking too many unforced errors. Might be next encounter he'll adjust to it. BTW, penhold serves are harder to read from tricky wrist movements.
