I'd take Haaland every day of the week. Kane is a brilliant, all-rounded footballer and a record goal scoring machine to boot. But Haaland is going to be one of the greatest strikers in the world every season for the next decade.
I think it will all depend on if Ten Hag can wait another year for Kane, cos I don't see Tottenham letting him go for under 100 million, especially to a rival. And I don't see any team in their right mind spending 100 million on a 30 year old striker with 1 year left on their contract.

The question is who is the best Stiker not who is the best footballer or better footballer, and the simple answer to that is, Haaland. You can bring the 'he only scores tap in' or 'he doesn't add to build up play' statements but the simple fact is his work as a striker is to score goals, which he is doing better than every other striker on the planet. It's the job of the other players in the team to create or to build up the play.
Why do you compare an average midfielder who isnt in the arear when the team needs, but scores penalties to a top5 all time striker?
if Kane joined City I don’t think he’d score this many, so whilst it’s fair to contextualise the difference in teammates, ultimately we can all see who’s the more complete goal scorer
Specifically for Chelsea? Haaland but for teams like Spurs or even at current Arsenal system? Kane. United would also benefit from Kane more same with Liverpool. Those teams have Scoring Wingers and Kane has a better passing and creates chances. Haaland is a proper Striker so teams like City and Chelsea who both need a proper Striker in the box.

Haaland is the better out-and-out #9 IMO but Kane is a more complete player. If you ask me to take one ST I'd take Haaland. Kane will not get 50+ goals in all comps and his drop deep play does not compensate for that with assists to make up that difference. Again, IMO.

Kane is a better technical footballer. I think there movement and finishing is on a par. Haaland has better athleticism and physicality. If you take the age out of it for my club I’d take Kane for the way we play.

How can anyuone think of picking Kane over Haaland? I mean he was great before he played at City. this he only scores more cause he is on a better team is just not true. He was the top goal scorer in CL wile playing at Dortmund. He scored more then 1 goal per game in CL for 3 different clubs. Has Kane done anything thats comparable ? He also scored different types of goals and was more involved inn does other clubs. So its not like he cant do other things but so far he has not be asked to do much more for city. Also i think there might be a situation where he needs to adjust to city like many other great players have had to during there first season.
